Keldon Marauders over Hellspark Elemental? A bit less aggro but more universal.However, if Sacrifice is a theme, consider Mortician Beetle vs Vexing Devil and Chainer's Edict vs mass removal. Anger of Gods is anti-synergic with Phyrexian Obliterator.
I chose keldon marauders because they are essentially 5 damage for 2 mana whereas hellsparks are 6 damage for 4 mana. Marauders also synergises better with bontu the glorified and soul stair expedition.
Yes. I am sort of synergy fan, it creates sort of theme and it feels very elegant.
Soul Stair Expedition could interact well with Bloodstained Mire.Alternative to Soul Stair Expedition is Oversold Cemetery. However, it would interact very well with Vexing Devil I previously commented in association with theme.
