How to Play

Deck discussion for Mardu Grandmaster

Mardu charm isnt good in modern, you would be better of just increasing helix to 4x and adding 2 more spells maybe 2x skullcrack?
also torpor orb isn't really worth the sideboard slot anymore without pod...
I know its good vs twin and a few other creatures in some midrange decks but BGx has decay,pulse and whatever else...

that damned rhino and a handful of other cards that really piss me off still fail with Orb.

I mean if BGx and twin are that common at your LGS I agree.
Skullcrack also helps with rhino;)

It's also a good card to bring in vs UWR control/midrange as you use it for sphinx's rev and sometimes helix.
