Deck Description

I had been wanting to do something with samurais for a long time but I could never figure out how to make them competitive. Sensei Golden-Tail opened up some possibilities but not many as he's fairly restricted by tapping and also restricted by mana. In other words he slows the deck down a bunch. I don't like splashing a color to fix something but rather integrate it for what it offers, but I couldn't find a way to integrate green for a mana ramp. Then I saw Isao!

How to Play

This deck stalls till mid-game when it has enough mana to build its forces. Late game you'll have a horde of fairly sizable creatures and you can overrun your opponent.
Now for the combos!
Opal-Eye+Heart= Damage absorption for days!
Bracers (Or Rings)+Sensei (Isao, Opal-Eye, or Rhys work too)= Copy of those abilities!
Rhys+Sensei= Multitudes of elf samurais!
Those are pretty much it but those will snowball way out of control really fast!
Important to note that bushido "stacks" e.g. If you use Sensei's ability 3 times on Isao then Isao will have bushido 2+bushido 1+bushido 1+bushido 1. All the instances of bushido trigger separately. You can't just say he has bushido 5!
PS. The training counter from Sensei DOES NOT grant bushido 1. The counters are just there. So if you grant an elf token bushido 1 and make it a samurai then copy it the copy will also have bushido 1. So samurai elves get bushido 1 exponentially, it's cool af and I just realized this!
