I love Drudge Skeleton. Not sure why but I do.So in celebration of the most reprinted skeleton ever I have designed a Skeleton deck! Was on the fence about Death Baron but in the end he's a zombie, so regardless of how good he is in the deck: he's out.I am also on the fence about Skithy. The most B.A.M.Fuckin Skelly Dragon is so cool... but also doesn't realllllly have much else to do with the rest of the deck.Another good thing about this deck: it costs under $10. Boom.
Well it's not a complicated deck, but I like the flavor anyway.It's a creature deck, so play your skellys. They have the bonus of being A) hard to kill and B) pretty expendable. So play your creature, buff them, and attack.Between Reassembling Skeleton, Sanitarium Skeleton, and Champions of Stray Souls it's hard to keep things dead. Also, as everything has regenerate or better (looking at you Tenacious Dead) making them go to the graveyard in general is tough.The key to running the deck is Dimir House Guard and it's third ability: Transmute. For three you can search for anything which costs 4 and put it in your hand. It just so happens that the only other things which cost 4 are your buffers: Paragon of Open Graves and Raiders' Spoils. Later in the game if you have Champion of Stray Souls you can sac self returners like Reassemblers or Sanitariums to grab the Dimirs and whatever you may have sacked for Bone Splinters back.Which brings me to your support. Bonesplinters, Throne of Bone and Read the Bones were chosen because they fit the flavor of Skeletons as well as being useful for the aggressive self sacrificial black style of deck.For mid game hitting with your warriors to fuel Raiders' Spoils will let you draw more skellies to play and its hard to stop 10 little skeletons when they are all getting +4/+3.
