Deck Description

Survive until late game where your big creatures can close the game with the help of removal and life gain OR get there faster by going the reanimator way

How to Play

Basically this is a midrange deck aiming to win through attrition, controlling the game with removal ,life gain and quality creatures.
You can opt to go the reanimation way if opportunity presents by taking advantage of some of the powerfull card drawbacks ( collective brutality, behold the beyond).

Here is a brief explanation on card choices:

********************CREATURES*************************************************

*Cataclysmic Gearhulk:
Nice body for 5 mana, this serves as our panic button when overwhelmed by opponents board pressence. Good thing is that he will most likely trade with whatever is left on our opponents side after the sweep.
Most effective against a well established board ( he will usually hit just artifacts and creatures, but it is nice when taking down PW).

*Filigree Familiar
Provides an early body to block and also gives a nice boost to life. Replaces itself when it dies. A common finks of sorts. Best scenario will be to cast it, gain life, trade and draw a card, grabbing probably removal.

*Metalworker Colossus:
The biggest creature in the deck. can be casted as early as T5 as a hasty trampler (assuming we cast Cloack T3 and Hedron Archive T4 ). He is the preferred finisher of the deck.

*Noxious Gearhulk:
A 6/4 for 6cc is meh.. but has an immediate impact onthe battlefield, killing the biggest threat and giving us a nice life boost. It also has built in evasion wich is nice.

********************SORCERIES*************************************************

*Behold the Beyond:
It is nice as a 1of since it can find us all the cards we need for 7cc. The drawback (discard your hand) can always be useful. Best scenario will be to cast it with a couple Colossus/gearhulks in hand, then discarding all and searching for "Ever After +Refurbish +Cloak or removal."

*Collective Brutality:
One of the bests spells in the deck. It is so flexible it covers almost all the deck needs.
It provides removal (Against aggro) , Selective discard ( against control ) and will provide a small boost to life (against aggro burn) while doing 2 dmg to face. Not to mention it cost only 2 mana and the Escalate cost can be used for benefit (discarding a Big reanimation target ).

*Ever After:
A nice tool for the reanimation kit since it will bring back 2 creatures for just 2 more mana than refurbish. It also puts itself back into library so there has to be value there for sure. Nice turnaround is to cast it when opponent has the lead , bringing back Hulk bros.( White bro will clear all but 1 creature, and black bro will destroy that one, giving us some life in the process, result is that we end with a 4/5 vigilant and a 6/4 menace creature against an empty board).

*Fumigate:
Sweep removal plus some life gain. Not much to explain here.

*Refurbish:
It serves as the main reanimation tool (since all of our creatures are artifacts), can also bring hedron or cloak if needed.

********************INSTANTS**************************************************

*Blessed Alliance:
Multipurpose survival spell. Can be casted early and will increase its value in the later stages of the game, It is also so flexible it covers many needs of this deck . It provides defensive removal (althought not targeted )vs aggro, Life gain (vs aggro or burning) and allows for a surpise blocker.

********************ARTIFACTS*************************************************

*Haunted Cloack:
Provides haste, trample and vigilance, really nice for reanimated Colossus and Hulks. Equipment cost is so cheap it will allow a big dude to be casted and equipped on the same turn most of the time.

*Hedron Archive:
Provides mana acceleration for big plays and can be cycled on later stages of the game. It actually reduces Colossus cost to 5 (4 from cmc and 2 from tapping).

********************ENCHANTMENTS********************************************

*Peace of Mind: Help us survive against aggresive decks by turning cards into life. It is also a reanimation enabler. Can also be replaced by Call the Bloodline (but more restrictive)

********************LANDS*****************************************************

*Inventor's Fair: The life gain is pretty negligible but can help sometimes, main reason is that it serves as a tutor.

*Other Lands: self explanatory
