Deck Description

Heya, Bloodymary here once again with another pauper brew.

I quickly needed a new list for a small cup that will be held within a day. Nothing special I just didn´t want to show up with the same list again.

It has it´s roots in soulsisters, but I wanted to make the deck more furious, I wanted to make it quicker. I think I´ve done a pretty goof job, and I hope you guys enjoy the brew as much as I do.

Deck discussion for Pauper: Sisters of Ash

I can´t wait to play against this tomorrow! It looks really well tailored!, Not that I would expect anything else from the reigning pauper champion of our lgs.

Maybe a teetering peaks or two for some extra damage?

I did test it but it slowed down my manabase too much

That's why I only suggested one or two, so you can drop one later for that last bit of damage. If you've already tested it though then oh well. Hope your stuff goes(went) well

Yeah I came in first
The problem with teetering peaks is that we already run 11 land (out of 20) that come in tapped (counting evolving wilds too) which I can't cut because this deck needs the mana fixing. pauper is a harsh landscape and the land bases (unless you play mono) are always less than ideal.

True enough. I haven't found a deck I want to run in pauper yet. I've toured with several ideas, but nothing really gets me excited

We have a pauper cup irl each Wednesday (with the official rules aka "If a common version of a particular card was ever released on Magic Online, any version of that card is legal in this format.") I always test run them for a few days and if I like them I keep make them irl and keep them.

I even made a facebook group because I wanted to get help and help other peepz out with their deck (and there wasn't a single English speaking group active)

I play about each format (minus tiny leaders) but one thing that draws me in about pauper is the possibility to brew decks that consistently can stand their own and beat tier 1 decks. The meta is ever shifting, not because new cards get released but because people fall in love with unknown brews and tweak one of their own.

Yeah I really like the mass flexibility (and non wallet breaking budget) of pauper. I have a ton of commons that I'm planning to sell all but a full set of just for the possibility of needing them for a future pauper deck

As an example, here's one of my decks trimmed to be pauper. Let me know what you think

how many creatures do you normally have out at a time. if you have five or more. you could throw in mob rule( 1R - sorcery - for each creature you control deal 1 damage to target player) and there is another for (1RR-instant- for each creature you control deal 1 damage to target creature or player). i have been working on one that focus more on getting the tokens out burning them to the face and not having to go to combat to win but can if need be.

Mob Rule is a 5 mana junk rare. And I myself wouldn't play a card like that over an anthem effect like Rally the Peasants or Righteous Charge because you always get through with the amount of creatures you have on board let alone the fact that a big chunk of our creatures have evasion.
