Thank you for the suggestion. I have previously considered building this Commander deck around Melek, Izzet Paragon to focus on duplicating my instant and sorcery spells as the deck theme. However, in my local Magic community, there are already many players who have conceived this idea and made decks around them, both in Constructed and Casual formats. Furthermore, the supply of non-Standard rare/mythic cards in our local stores are always scarce. Therefore, I decided to establish another theme for my Commander deck. I have built several Standard decks before based on card-drawing strategies, thus I adopted that same theme for this deck.

Thank you for your comments. Most of my decks are in Standard format, but I only post my casual (commander) decks on www.mtgvault.com. With regards to your suggested card, it is already included in the main deck. I agree with you that it is very strong in spell-based decks.

Oh, really? ...I'm pretty sure you don't. However, I do agree with "bakaburger1." You should have a Sphinx Bone Wand... because it's sick. ::_:: <-- Spiderface

Sphinx-Bone Wand is a conditional card, which seems weak against creature-based decks. Nonetheless, it is powerful in late game, especially if it obtained lots of counters. However, if I battle against aggressive commander decks in our Magic community, I sometimes replace it with Sphinx of the Final Word.

Lol. I'm just joking, because when I read your comment that said you were playing Sphinx-Bone Wand, you weren't playing it.

No problem! I tried using Sphinx-Bone Wand and Guttersnipe in my other commander deck for several weeks, and now I reinstalled them back into this deck. Thank you for your comments.
