Deck Description

Modern Selesnya Deck (In need of Update)

Creatures (21)

4x Noble Hierarch, a one mana drop which will both cover your mana expenses, but also give you that extra bit of pressure early game;
3x Doomed Traveler, a quick one mana drop which trades of for creatures, stacks aggro, takes advantage of auras and deposits a token once he has done his job;
4x Voice of Resurgence, A fairly powerful card, 2 drop and not only do you take advantage from him biting the dust, it also keeps your opponents from casting spells on your turn. Worst case scenario you still win an X/X Token;
3x Blade Splicer, a 3 mana drop which in addition to giving an 3/3 first strike token, it also gives you an 1/1 creature, both easily pumped up by your enchantments;
3x Hero of Bladehold, a 4 mana drop which pumps a threat as soon as he hits the board, not only does he lays out offensive tokens, he also pumps the up with +1/+0.

Additional Support Cards ( 18)

3x Honor of the Pure, a total of 13 creatures beneffit from it, in addition 21 creature tokens also take advantage from it, making for a total of one card that pumps 34 others;
3x Intangible Virtue, a total of 21 Creature tokens beneffits from it, in addition it grants them Vigilance, which will aid you more than it seems in the long run;
2x Rancor a cycling Enchantment which will always find its way to the battlefield, a one mana drop for +2/+0 Trample will ensure that you will quickly deal damage across the board;
1x Lightning Greaves, a 2 mana drop which grants Haste to one creature per turn, but also grants it protection. You will often equip it to both Blade Splicer's token and on the endgame of things, it'll find its way to Hero of the Bladehold as it'll make for a devastating attack as soon as Hero hits the board;
4x Advent of the Wurm, a 5/5 Trample Wurm for 4 mana which should only be used by the end turn of your opponent to ensure it doesn't get countered;
2x Rootborn Defenses are a fairly powerful card, more than what people give it credit for. With 3 manas you are able to both protect your creatures from certain dispair (ala Day of Judgement) it also keeps the threat rolling with Indistructible;
4x Gather the Townsfolk, some may consider Call of the Conclave, but on the end of the day, a Gather is always more powerful than Call with 2 enchantments, in addition the Faithful Aura may find its way to your aid.

Lands (20)

6x Forest;
4x Plains;
4x Razorverge Thicket, to ensure your early game start;
2x Temple Garden;
4x Sunpetal Grove.

SideBoard Description.
Would like some input. Thanks! (:

How to Play

With lots of raw tokens power and able to populate early game with 8 Mana drops to ensure you play it as fast as you can!
With 19 ways to Generate tokens, plus 2 viable Populate ways to spread your tokens across the board and make them indestructible to ensure a Kill.

Beeing a token deck, you'll find yourself in a very solid board presence, just make sure to land your enchantments as soon as you have them available to make sure you don't lose presence on the board.

The Main threat you want to quickly get on board is the 3x Hero of Bladehold, since it will ensure the board rolls your way, always try to get him on the battlefield with either (or both) Honor of the Pure and Intangible Virtue, as that will make him a harder target to hit down with red sources. If possible, also equip him with his pair of boots as that will both make him an hard creature to dispose off but also catches your opponents off guard as you spread your tokens across the board!
Other than that, just have fun! (:

Like it? Leave a thumbs up. Know of a way to improve it? Please leave a comment, I'm always open to suggestions (: !
Cheers!

Deck discussion for Modern Selesnya

Selesnya Charms are always nice :3 They can get rid of those gods and anything with indestructable I think x3

Indeed true, they can both aid in many cases, If I face a Day of Judgement I can still add one token to the battlefield. Should I face a big threat I can quickly exile it. Or I could pump up a creature and additional trample damage. It is indeed a very viable card, however from what I have tested I still like Rancor the best.
It keeps coming back, it ensures I have Trample always activated, and if my creatures are to be disposed off, I can assure the tokens that came out of them get the beneffit from Rancor. It keeps the threat wheel going if you know what I mean (:

I will tell you what tho, I will swap my Oblivion rings with 2 selesnya charms and test it out.

Cheers! (:

It is indeed true (:, both cards have very good value for their mana.
My main problem with Trostani is that I had for 4 manas, and usually that leaves me "mana burned" until the next turn in order to have some benefit out of Trostani, which I feel instead I could, say a Hero of Bladehold out on the field, taking immediate action with a pair of greaves.

However, noted, I will a copy of Trostani to the SB, the extra life gain may well be worth the effort. And will lather consider what works best! (: For when in doubt, test! :D
Thanks! (:
