So you don't need to keep tapping a land to pay its upkeep right? you can basically have it tap itself for the upkeep cost. EX( Age counter 2/Tap 2 for upkeep cost?

its upkeep "cost" is add mana which can be made to make epic level combos

do note that the mana empties itself at the end of the upkeep which is why this card isn't worth 1M$

Gemstone Array allows you to carry over some of the mana into other phases. It also allows you to change the colour of the mana.
