Myr Welder... would it work?

What is the ruling for that?
I know that equip is an activated ability... so...

well... if you want to use myr welder as an equipment, yes that is possible, but it will not give anything to the equipped creature. as for the transforming thing... if myr welder have used its imprint on Elbrus, and another Elbrus is on the battlefeild, then if myr welder is equipped on a creature Elbrus will transform, and myr welder will stay equipped on the creature. i hope this was of help to you :)
