Basically, this deck aims to muddle, disrupt, and outright destroy the opponents' lands. Therefore, crippling their ability to cast anything. I was inspired to create this deck based on my countless painful losses against Tron. Not only will this deck make Tron players sweat, they will likely go home crying ;). But it also probably can hold up its own against a lot of other decks too...especially those that rely on a steady, consistent mana base. *Only downside is the $ price tag. Crucibles, blood moons, and fulminators ain't cheap. But they are key components of the deck. You could make a more budget-friendly version of this deck and just replace the money cards with cheaper alts. Sideboard suggestions much appreciated :).
Enchant land, destroy land, rinse repeat ;)

You may want to look into a deck archetype called Ponza. It does what you're trying to here, in my bias opinion, better than this :P

Okay I'll check it out. What does it do that makes it better?
It looks aggressive but seems like a more mid-range aggro type deck with some land destruction tossed in. It has a little mana ramp, a few big creatures, some removal splashed in, etc. It doesn't look like a bad deck. It's just this one is all-in on land destruction. 4 crucibles+4 ghost quarters and 4x fulminator mage...recipe for destruction.
"Crumble to Dust" looks sweet though!
The problem with LD in Modern is that LD on its own isn't enough. What Ponza does is it uses LD and Blood Moon to put the opponent off some / most of their spells while ramping into big threats to close the game. What I like about it is the flexibility beyond the core cards. Plus, the Green gives access to Enchantment hate. I've seen GW Tron builds that have Sacred Ground in their sideboard. Here's a Primer:http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/modern/developing-competitive-modern/220790-rg-ponza-modern-land-destructionAnd my build:http://www.mtgvault.com/dedwards/decks/ponza-mana-denied/
Alright, I get what your deck is trying to do. You are more set on mana disruption and using mana ramp to establish a board presence to put pressure on the opponent-by making sure you have access to the mana you need, and denying access to your opponent. This deck is basically denying your opponent lands, period. A turn-1 ghost quarter, turn-2 contaminated ground, and turn-3 fulminator/blood moon/crucible of worlds is no joke. You can ensure your opponent has no mana for the entire game.
Simian Spirit Guide can help getting some spells a turn earlier. Demigod of Revenge wants to be played as a 4 of because of its etb. If you don't want to increase the Demigod count, Stormbreath Dragon could fill the role and be more resilient against removal (Path can't target it). Personally, I'm not a fan of Goblin Ruinblaster, and while it costs more, I'm a big fan of Goblin Dark-Dwellers as it not only replays land destruction spells, but almost any other instant or sorcery in your graveyard. I guess I like it for the flexibility Speaking of other Instants or Sorceries, you may want to include something like Anger of the Gods. There will be matchups where they can get in under you land denial. Mana dorks, Aether Vial, most of RDW's spells, etc.
I decided to try design a RB land hate deck:http://www.mtgvault.com/dedwards/decks/darker-side-of-land-hate/
Good recommendations. Anger of the gods is certainly a must for the SB...maybe even MB. It can deal with affinity and most fast creature decks. I will also consider putting in Goblin Dark-dwellers. It brings a lot of value being able to recycle your molten/stone rains. I think that Demigod works great as just a 5-mana 5/4 flying beater. Beating down the opponent isn't the main strategy of this deck...looting and pillaging lands is :)
