*Changed my deck to straight B/W Vampires Life Gain/Drain. Vampires seemed to be the most obvious choice for this kind of deck, and luckily there are still vampires left to play in standard :) Slight variation on the traditional B/W Zombies common in the standard format right now. I have had trouble at my LGS in matches because opponents have so much removal, counter spells, and board wipes. I love playing zombies, but have come to face the reality that once your board is wiped clean or your precious zombies are removed via magma sprays, fumigates, fatal pushes, etc. it is very difficult to regain your board presence again. Therefore, I have altered my build to have a more life gain/drain aspect with bontu's monument, collective brutality, trespasser's curse, wayward servant, and plague belcher. In my opinion, the traditional b/w zombies and mono black for that matter is too narrow and too prone to tempo swings (as are most tribal builds). Hopefully these changes will solve that dilemma.
