With a deep breath, he thought over the months leading to this moment. These vampires had been draining the local villages dry for what seemed like centuries. With such a poor front as "protection from bandits" these scoundrels had been keeping the villages under their boots with fear. Well, someone had enough of this. They sent word to the Leonin, a battle-hardened expert of War. He had lead his forces against the Invaders from the Sea, earning his claim to fame for his no guts, no glory attitude. He had called upon Goblins, Halflings, Minotaurs, and even Giants to bear his banner. Now, the time had come. The villagers had let their veterans of war, humans who thought their glory days were well past them, and led them to the front door of these foul creatures. The leonin gazed upon the revelry grounds of the Vampire. He knew the only way to end this hedonistic reign of terror was with conflict. He gazed out at his army one last time, then shouted a Command. "Fire the arrows when ready. We shall send these fiends back to the Hell they crawled out from." With thes words, the battle began.
The Vampires have been manipulating these villages long enough! Let the Soldiers bring their estate to the ground in one glorious night to remember! The key to the Soldier deck is aggression. The vampires plan to use life gain to stall you out, so just keep swinging in their faces until they drop dead.Cards like Bomber Corps and Wojek Halberdiers gain bonus power when attacking with multiple allies, so be sure to cast plenty of cheap Soldiers like Icatian Javeleneers and Boros Recruit to start the charge early. The vampires may try and block your forces to cut down your numbers, but cards like Martial Glory can boost your troops to kill of the Vampires and even survive a potential killing blow. The vampires may try to bring out huge threats like Stromkirk Mentor, so save your removal spells, like Vengeance, for these big baddies to keep the Vampires from getting momentum. Numbers are your advantage, so cards like Captain's Call can really pressure your opponent, especially the mighty Brimaz, King of Oreskos. Just keep the offensive and the Vampires will never terrorize these villages again!
