Deck Description

Ah, pauper. The brewer's paradise. It amazes me what you can find looking into a new set of cards. Like Mortician Beetle, a card that can easily form a deck around itself in pauper. It amazes me that this Zendikar rare is now a common card. So, I was like, "Screw the meta, I want a silly sacrifice deck." It was almost gonna be Green and Black, but I already did one of those and it had Rancor and other shenanigans. So I was like, "Screw Golgari, I want Rakdos Beetles." Then, I remembered the almighty Impact Tremors deck, which ran a bunch of stuff that liked to sacrifice it's own stuff after it hit the battlefield. So, I combined the two into this wonderful abomination of a deck. Without further delay, RAKDOS SACRIFICE: THE KATHARI SAFARI!!! ENJOY!!!

How to Play

Play Mortician Beetle, sacrifice stuff (hopefully to Bloodflow after their ability to sacrifice themselves go off) then just murder.

NOW CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG, but I'm under the assumption that it can work like this:

Kathari Bomber triggers, putting in 2 goblins and sacrificing itself. IN RESPONSE TO THIS TRIGGER, activate Bloodflow sacrificing the Bomber. Add the +1/+1 counter to Bloodflow, but still get two goblins and sac the Bomber (which was already sac'd.)

This interaction is pretty much how you want it to go. If you sac stuff to Bloodflow with Beetle out, OOOOH BOY do you get scary quick. Bone Splinters for sac outlet to power up the Beetle as well as removal, Warren Weirding for sac as well but you can sac your own stuff (like a Bomber token or Mogg War Marshall) for goblins, Harvest for late game where you have mana to get a card back every turn, Mire for those mid game turns where you need something to sac, and Bolt because it's Red Pauper god powers.

SIDEBOARD:

Thatcher can be another finisher (like Fling with a big Beetle or Bloodflow) and Altar's Reap is a nice sac outlet over a Fling or Weirding if the matchup calls for it (it shouldn't on a regular basis, but optional draw is never a bad idea) Tragic Slip for Gurmag and Eldrazi, Duress for Delver, and Electrickery for tokens/weenie (which I have seen a bit lately. Like, when was token weenie a thing?)
