i made a modern deck recently (Link: http://www.mtgvault.com/coldersoul/decks/wiltleaf-lieges-friends/ ) based on maximizing wilt-leaf liege and was annoyed when i realized it wasn't legendary and thus couldn't lead an edh deck. i found tolsimir to be the next best substitute, and built this 100 card singleton deck around the same idea.the idea is so make all the creatures huge with talsimir wilt-leaf leige, and glorious anthem effects. birthing pod helps search for what is needed while saffi and renegade rallier help keep useful tools out of the graveyard. there is also a minor +1/+1 counter theme going on with cards like chorus of the conclave and chronicler of heros, and also a even smaller token theme with cards like voice of resurgence and trostani. through all the buffs, most creatures should be large enough to reap the few "power greater than 5" benefits also in the deck
this is a very creature based deck. simply put, it is played by casting creatures and attacking with them. use birthing pod to tutor new creatures and always pressure opponents.
