CRAP!!!!!!!
I just realised this won't work as Sway of the Stars puts cards in hand :(
Going to work on a Worldfire version now.

How to Play

So, the main idea is to get Barren Glory out, exile it with Oblivion Ring, then cast Sway of the Stars to reset the game. When we resolve Sway of the Stars, Oblivion Ring will return Barren Glory (which is unaffected by Sway of the Stars) and we have no other permanents, so all we do is wait Barren Glory to trigger in our next turn.

Arbor Elf and Kiora's Follower plus the land Auras help ramp up to the high costs of Barren Glory and Sway of the Stars.

Freed from the Real + untap creature + land aura = infinite mana. Prefer two land auras in this combo for mana fixing reasons.

Deck discussion for Barren Stars

Well, I "liked" your deck anyway, in spite of the "Sway of the Stars fiasco" :D, to try to draw attention to your challenge, as it's hard to know how active the forums are anymore. As for possible approaches, seems like an Esper build would work...covers Barren Glory, O-Ring, One With Nothing, tutors/counters/removal, creatures w/ shadow/unblockable, etc. etc. etc. I was thinking maybe exile Barren Glory w/ O-Ring, then attack w/ Worldslayer on an unblockable critter/one w/ shadow, after using One With Nothing to empty your hand. This might be another good use for Thassa, which can be tutored as an enchantment same as Barren Glory & O-Ring. Esper colors also give access to Wall of Denial, Augury Owl, & Cryptic Annelid for bodies/additional scry...probably other goodstuff I'm not thinking about right now. At any rate, I do hope some folks participate, & am looking forward to seeing your Worldfire deck. :)

Worldslayer sadly runs into a similar problem to Sway of the Stars as it survives the end of the world brought on by its own ability.

Holy smokes! I can't believe I completely spaced that off. Okay, back to the drawing board.

Claws of Gix, maybe? With mana rocks/dorks... So maybe more like using Worldfire. I still like the idea of an Esper build, though. You know, it's really convoluted trying to make this feasible in Modern. -.-

Great idea for a deck, I would try Sins of the Past playing Sway of the Stars easier. Only downside would be getting it into your graveyard. You could always run Thoughtseize, Pilfered Plans or Glimpse the Unthinkable on yourself or the other player if needed. Also Through the Breach with Hellcarver Demon going into a Barren Glory would be pretty crazy but, I'm just thinking out in left field.

Ooo, Sins of the Past + Worldfire, me likey :P
Looting is easy in both blue and red and getting to {4}{B}{B} is a lot easier than {6}{R}{R}{R}.
