Deck Description

Our group just recently started playing Modern matches (currently only once a month) an I've been rummaging through my cards to make a Modern legal deck. I soon realised I have a few Golgari cards an decided to build a deck around them.

Fa'adiyah Seer let's me dredge more often as I can dredge instead of drawing the card :)
Shambling Shell allows me to skip Necroplasm killing itself, allowing it to continue to get bigger.
Plague Boiler is my 'kill all' card.
Dread and Vigor prevents me from mill myself with all the dredging.
Golgari Thug brings back Fa'adiyah Seer as the Seer doesn't have dredge.

I require assistance lowering the mainboard down to 60 (or close to) and filling the rest of the sidebaord.
Golgari Brownscale is in sideboard to gain life against burn decks.

Deck discussion for Golgari (Modern)

First of all: cool deck! I would cut the dreads. For two reasons: first of all you only run 20 lands and second of all the vigors and necroplasms seems to be enough.
just my two cents

Thanks :)

The Dread and Vigor aren't meant to be cast, just shuffled back into the deck when they get dredged, so I'd like to keep them in the deck.

I'd say cut a Vigor, a Dread and a Forest. I don't like the Moldervine Cloak all that much. I think you may need another playset of 1-drops aswell.

Sadly I need to keep Vigor and Dread at 4 each for the whole anti-mill thing to work. 8 Elemental Incarnations means that even if my hand is full of them, at least one will be in my library (max hand size is 7, 8-7=1).

I'm going to be rearranging the deck tonight to increase the number of cards in the sideboard and to lessen the number of cards mainboard. If I drop any card, Moldervine Cloak mite be first choice for that.

I'd say your being redundant, but I don't know how to use the word (redundant) perfectly. 6 will be enough man.

Well I'm just working off theory. I've put an order in to get the cards I'm missing, so I can only put my theory to practice when I get the cards.

You'll always be dredging if you're able to (after land three), so you won't be able to draw one. It will always be in the library, and you know you won't keep a hand of seven incarnations.
