Deck Description

Trying to make Muraganda Petroglyphs work. Thankfully, 95+% of opponent's play creatures with abilities, so 95+% of the time only my tokens will get the boost.

How to Play

Muraganda Petroglyphs gives all creatures without abilities +2/+2 and all the token creatures in here don't have abilities. So play Muraganda Petroglyphs and token making cards, then attack with a large army.

The Planeswalkers provide constant token production and / or boost the whole team.

Promise of Bunrei is kind of a safety net against the opponent's mass removal, or you can leave a small creature (like BoP or Elf) back to block, die, and "return" as 4 colourless spirit tokens without abilities.

Gavony Township is another way to boost the team. Especially good once you start pumping BoP every turn, making it a flying threat.

Deck discussion for Petroglyph of Tokens

I would maybe go with Gather the Townsfolk over Servo Exhibition, just because of the possible additional tokens incase you are at five or less life. I was playing around Muraganda Petroglyphs a couple of day ago and mostly been thinking of a mono-green deck with a splash of devotion. Mostly the creatures that come to mind are Kalonian Tusker and Leatherback Baloth. I know Nissa, Voice of Zendikar is pretty solid and added her to the deck mostly based around plant tribal I did. The deck looks pretty well put together, I was thinking maybe you should add Watchwolf but, don't know if it would fit the theme with token production plus, not really sure if anything should be taken out to replace it.

Servo Exhibition's slot is a toss-up between the Exhibition and Gather the Townsfolk. On one hand, we have the potential to get a lot more creatures if at the dangerous 5 or less (something I'd rather avoid, if possible), and on the other we have colourless creatures that get around most forms of protection and survives things like Ugin, the Spirit Dragon's [-X]; and All Is Dust. So it just depends on what you want out of the card. The spirits from Promise of Bunrei are colourless too.

Other than the mana dorks, and Path, almost everything in here produces 2+creatures that get pumped by Muraganda Petroglyphs. So while Watch Wolf is a strong card, especially with Petroglyphs out, it's Sadly only one creature from one card. The point here is to maximise the bonus from Petroglyphs, which I feel works better going wide. If I where to do a tokenless version, the wolf would definitely be in, along with quite a few other vanilla creatures, like Leatherback Baloth.

Nissa, Voice of Zendikar works well with Petroglyphs. It curves well into it.

Like the idea, but maybe change out Conqueror's Pledge for Secure the Waste. Instant speed and the potential of making more tokens than Pledge can make.
