I know it's not optimal, but I challenged myself to make a mono red Dragonstorm deck in Modern. This means no Gitaxian Probe, no Right of Flame, and no Seething Song as they're currently banned. The sideboard changes from Dragonstorm to Empty the Warrens + Goblin Bushwhacker. I chose Kokusho, the Evening Star over Bogardan Hellkite for two reasons:1) It's life loss, not damage, so it can't be prevented. 2) The life loss doesn't target, so it gets around things like Leyline of Sanctity.Predator Dragon is mostly to Devour the last Kokusho, but it can also Devour those delicious goblins to attack for a lot in the air. Predator has haste.
So, with Seething Song banned I had to look for a work around to storm into the Dragons. I found this in Empty the Warrens + Battle Hymn.An Average game:T1: Mountain, Suspend Lotus Bloom (3 time counters), cycling Street Wraith if it's in hand. T2: (2 time counters), Mountain, any draw spells you may have. Keeping at least one Manamorphose for T4. T3: (1 time counter), Mountain, any draw spells you may have. Keeping at least one Manamorphose for T4. T4: Lotus Bloom is cast (1 spell) {3 mana, plus 2 from lands = 5 Mana}Cast two Rituals (3 spells) {7 mana}Cast Empty the Warrens for 8 goblins (4 spells) {3 mana}Cast Battle Hymn for {R} per goblin (5 Spells) {9 mana}Cast Dragonstorm fetching all the Kokusho first and using Predator Dragon to Devour the last Kokusho and maybe some goblins if the opponent is still alive, attack. Street Wraith, Tormenting Voice, and Manamorphose are to draw into whatever piece you're missing. Manamorphose can also be cast during a storm to add an extra card to the count. Tormenting Voice also digs deeper than the others, but is not good when wanting to storm. Street Wraith doesn't add to the storm count. Possible turn 3 Dragonstorm:By turn 3 you need to have played 3 lands for this to work. The other cards required are 3-4 Rituals, 0-1 Manamorphose, 1 Empty the Warrens, 1 Battle Hymn, 1 Dragonstorm. 1) Play Rituals and Manamorphose [Spell count 4] {6/7 mana}2) Play Empty the Warrens to get 10 goblins [Spell count 5] {2/3 mana}3) Play Battle Hymn for {10/11 mana}4) Play Dragonstorm.

Spotted a flub in your numbers. You said optimally that turn four you have five mana, but you actually have six from the three land and lotus bloom.
