I made this deck in preparation for the standard format cycle everything in it is from gatecrash, return to ravnica, and dragon's maze unfortunately until i can find out what dual lands are being reprinted if any none are included in this deck the major changes to this deck other than land were I used chromatic lantern as a replacement for farseek I used experiment one as a replacement for diregraf ghoul I used rubblebelt raiders as a replacement for hellrider I used toil // trouble as a replacement for searing spear I used ghor-clan rampager as a replacement for brimstone volley I used disciple of the old ways for a replacement for strangleroot geist I used thrill-kill assassin as a replacement for vampire nighthawk and deviant glee as a replacement for bump in the night
there are many available options in this deck but it is primarily aggro and creature control I usually base how I play by my opening hand if you get rubblebelt raiders you obviously want to get an early board presence on the other hand if you get lotleth troll its better to hold back some of your weaker aggro creatures for discard not to say you shouldnt still try to get some cacklers or shred-freaks out but lotleth turn three with an extra black for regen can be a very big game piece some combinations in the deck that I articularly like would be using domri rades plus one ability to feed lotleth troll or add aggro for rubblebelt raiders, putting gift of orzhova on a thrill-kill assassin without unleashing it makes it into a 2/3 with flying deathtouch and lifelink so basically a vampire nighthawk, or giving vraska tokens or master of cruelties unblockable with rogue's passage another good way to hit with the vraska tokens can be using ghor-clan rampager bloodrush on them
