Deck Description

Black/Green deck original from1995-96 :D

Black Green all-round power deck made for more then 20 years ago, when Ice-age was "the new black" - forged around the Dark Heart of the Wood... after it has been silenced for many many years, it has surfaced ones again, ready to drain life and take on new challenges...

Now it has been upgraded with the the Nissa vs. Ob Nixilis Dual decks, joining the two forces to strengthen the Dark Heart of the Wood. 'http://magic.wizards.com/en/content/duel-decks-nissa-vs-ob-nixilis'

How to Play

Get some minor creatures down fast - and soon after some flying power, where as Sengir is a main gun - remove and deal with threats and get the fallen creates back to served their master ones again - prevent damage by Simulacrum or Pentagram of the ages. Boost up Bottumless vault and fire off some drain life's on opponent life stock or that one create that just need to be drained, if not a tragic slip or terror can do the trick. Add Treetop village and Mishra' factory to the attack to get some more damage in... Nissa and Ob Nixilis has to be protected as long as possible to harvest their nice powers.

Deck discussion for Dark heart of the wood

Greater updates are on the way to deal with all the 'new' treats - better creature, artifact and plainwalker removal - exile against opponent cards to interrupt deadly compos - and better enchantments/artifacts to spice things up.
