Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (12 cards)

Creatures (4)

Sorceries (4)

Artifacts (4)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

How to Play

Gain Infinite Mana by:
attaching umbral mantle to acolyte, tap infinitely
attaching umbral mantle to satyr, and infinitely uncap/tapping nykthos
playing mass hysteria, tap acolyte, return it to hand using sabertooth, then replaying it repeatedly.

Then Monstrous a Brood Master for infinite from hand, or tutor from genesis hydra, giving you infinite 8/8 hydras. You may also bounce hornet queen infinitely.

Hey if you are using devotion to green to get infinite mana, id consider a Khalni Hydra too! You could play it down pretty cheap and ramp the mana from its cmc even more quickly? But I LOVE this deck! definitely going to play it some time! You could switch out your hornet queen for it, that is assuming I'm correct in believing that is there to increase the devotion to green?

The hornet is to bounce with saver tooth for infinite 1/1 wasps, but good idea, I may use it.

Pretty interesting. But since you have access to red, how about throwing in Fireball?

Maybe crater's claws instead/burn from within? (modern)

Good point. Anytime I see infinite mana decks, I immediately think of the old Channel Fireball combo. Fireball, Crater's Claws, and Burn from Within are all Modern legal, but Crater's Claws happens to have Ferocious (probably not needed, but hey, any little bit helps).

Banefire cannot be countered and the damage cannot be prevented. I think it's the best XR burn spell for infinite mana.

You need a way to give your dorks Trample, otherwise I block with a plebian creature or a Deathtouch creature and ruin the combo

Nylea is a great way to give Trample and pump infinitely if you can't find a big guy.

I would add some way to draw cards rather than trample. Drawing cards or a way to tutor like the chord of calling will make the deck more reliable. also allows to essentially have extra copies of any creature you might want at any time.

Funny to think this infinite combo was in standard not too long ago.

Worldspine Worm could be fun if you want a big guy with trample.

Hey check this out (one of mine) : http://www.mtgvault.com/avatarinsane/decks/moderngreen-hero/
I think in my suggestion above it have lots of devotions for your deck.

I don't know how fast your deck is but i suppose is not quick, fast and furious in early game. That's why I suggest you to see one of mine. Maybe you'll can find some "quickyness".

I love yours. +1
Have a nice day!

PS : Sorry for my English, I'm french Canadian.

Cool deck dokkor. Like the acolyte info strategy. Out of curiosity, what about a staff of domination instead of sabertooth for a second route to infi. Of course, disregard this suggestion of its budget ;-)

I recommend Burning-Tree Emissary. Let's you get devotion on super fast before your opponent can use too many kill spells.

Also, if you flicker him with temur sabertooth, it will effectively filter your mana into any amount of red OR green.

Agree, I really like the burning tree. With a lotus petal on turn one followed by a Goblin bushwhacker or a swiftspear on Rancor it really hurts. You could also consider orochi leafcaller for mana laundering if you' ve got infinite green.

I like Polukranos, World Eater over Hydra Broodmaster. A nice opponent side board wipe.

I'd cut the basic mountains for copperline gorge's. The amount of test hands where I wished a basic mountain was a taiga were pretty high, and generally the drawback clause won't affect you too much.

Throw in a heavy arbalest or viridian longbow somewhere, and you can use any of those infinite tap/untap combos with Umbral Mantle to do direct game winning damage.
Or Mage Slayer. Ramp up that mana and the power of the creature with umbral mantle, then attack and "Whenever equipped creature attacks, it deals damage equal to its power to defending player."
or Surestrike Trident, which has "{T}, Unattach Surestrike Trident: This creature deals damage equal to its power to target player." re-equip for 4. redo its effect to another player. etc.

Did the same sort of thing when the majority of these cards were still in standard. however, it was green devo with a splash or b/u in order to go massive with villainous wealth. The most i ever hit was 64, but then again that was standard.

why not switch out the sabertooth for a different hydra with trample like kalonian hydra, has the devotion and the tigers ability seems kind of pointless in this deck unless I'm missing something.

Gelatinous genesis works better than Broodmaster. I've worked on that combo for a while. I have a deck for it if you want to see.
