Those would be good cards to include, but they’re both seven mana. I am trying to find replacements for some of the defender stuff cause it’s clunky

Lol yeah, trust me I've written essays on here. I created the posts about this website being inactive and reviving it. And now Miracles is out of the question with the ban announcement. I think I will end up going into a delver or death & taxes type strategy with burn being a back up deck. With miracles now gone those three decks get better as well.
Me and my friend are trying to get into legacy. In fact we already have most of burn built but what competitive decks would you recommend to get into the format. We mostly play modern, and have almost everything we'd need from there. Alex either wants to play Miracles or Lands. We have about half of Miracles and Lands we'll never get to because of Tabernacle XD.
counterbalance!!!
OOH! a deck with the modules! gotta instantly love the deck when you see those
that is really nice to hear. And im sure many commander players will give feedback. sadly i am in the middle about commander, i like it, have played it just never found a deck i liked.
You really do not need more creatures :P the regular GW bogles deck runs 12, 8 of which are hexproof, 4 are kor spiritdancer. And i suppose if you really want to be picky dryad arbor is also a creature.
I play bogles! Check out my bogles decks. ;)tbh I do not know why you are not playing white. White provides so many more offensive enchantments: ethereal armor, hyena umbra, spirit mantle, unflinching courage, gryff's boon. Also since Daybreak coronet go reprinted in MM2 its price has drop significantly. On the green side of things, there should be no reason why rancor is not in the deck. Along with Slippery Bogle! The name sake card should be in this deck especially.
8 Grasp of Darkness?
that'd be cool. thanks DedWards
Yeah same, I do like this deck and see the potential but it just seems to clunky and slow with the current cards. Plus some removal wouldn't hurt ;) but as @TrackingDevice said better cards such as Visionary, Angel, and in my opinion Verdurous Gearhulk would be good too. Along with like Gideon and 3 mana Nissa.
The only problem I see in this deck is that the life you gain will be lost if not faster than what you gain, reason being is cause you DO have sudo board clears with thing and engulf but they're just not good enough. Fumigate is a board clear that kills the creatures AND gains you life.
HEY ITS MEKKAKAT! long time no see. I like the deck it looks very interesting. But if you're gunna have 4 fumigate and 2 blessed alliance in your deck with only 2 white sources that don't even last, you are going to need to fix your mana. Also you should try thermo-alchemist in the deck.
Gary are you the creator of this site? Cause from Puschkin a few comments down you seem to be important.
who is gary? and thats amazing! yay forums!
Ok very true i forgot about those.
I honestly do not know why people like this deck. I know it is supposed to be a casual budget deck, but even then it still sucks. I'm sorry maybe its just my competitive background, but I think about any other casual deck will stomp this or it appears to be that way.
Well to be honest your deck does not look like a traditional UW Control deck. It more looks like a mid range creature deck as of right now. To make it better vs chandra you need planeswalker removal which doesn't exist in your colors (except Imprison). But to make it more consistent, you have to have more playsets of creatures and spells instead of random 1 of's
dismember does not need black mana :/
But they don't need hexproof :/ because you will beating their face in. Hunt the hunter has to fight another green creature, that's why it sucks. Also... Muraganda Petroglyphs also sucks cause you only have 2 creatures with no abilites.
