In vintage and legacy this deck wil be decimated.
If you build it only for the fun, the combo decks aren't really funny you just try to search for the combo cards and play.
BTW Hinder is another Spell Crumble

Since it costs $148.52 is not budget (not for me).
The combo deck are not Fun. I used a sword of the meek, thopter combo and is funny to play only 3/4 times al max. You will get bored easily.
I saw the tags, but they are wrong in my opinion...

If the poster thinks it's budget / fun, then the tag is correct. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions after all

I didn't mean to trigger so many people. Sheesh

Not your fault drumhead21. In fact, I should be the one apologising. I'm generally a chill guy and very tolerant, so_maro90 just happened to hit one of the few things that sets me off. Sorry.

No need to apologize Ded. I agree everyone is entitled to their opinion and I've dealt with a lot worse of a thread of comments than this before on MTGVault.
But I try to tag decks properly or as close to accurate as I can to avoid less harsh/ignorant comments, but not everyone reads that stuff.

I don't know what i said to upset both of you. My comments weren't "harsh/ignorant".
This is my mental process so maybe you could see my point of view:
- i read the card legality and thinks that is to play with friends (and the tag is Kitchen Table is CORRECT)
- i read the tag "budget" and the cost is 150$ (with 143$ i build 3 commanders: Daretti, Talrand, Brago) so unless you could afford cards like fetch lands, planeswalker (the expensive ones) i think the tag is INCORRECT.
- i read the tag "fun": In my 10 years of playing Magic, combo decks are not that enjoyable after few play (said that for give a opinion to drumhead21 before build up a deck that (MAYBE) it will bore him/her).

@DedWards: "If the poster thinks it's budget / fun, then the tag is correct"... i don't understand. If the poster write a tag that is not correct, we shouldnt said it? in this case "budget", because there is a standard line for budget (it could be 20$, it could be 75$, but 150$ its too much).
"Fun" is something which change for every person so there is not a standard line like "budget".

I agree with you guys that this deck is a Combo deck used for Fun, not Tournament.
I disagree that this deck is budget.

I write a poem because it seems that you think i'm an idiot that write random comments so i wanted to explain my point. Sorry for the bad english since is not my first language.

I consider it budget because for me, it was cheap to make. I consider it budget because I kept out cards like Tundra, Hallowed Fountain, and Flooded Strand which would've made the deck ridiculously expensive.
I call this deck fun because for the couple games I'll play it against my four-six friends who play magic, I will enjoy watching them scratch their heads.
Any time that has happened in my 20+ years of playing magic, then I am happy and having fun. Most decks I make I play them only a handful of times and take them apart and turn to my tens of thousands of cards and make something new.
You are entitled to your own opinion about budget. I get it. This may actually be really expensive for you. I am fortunate and I've been playing since '94/'95 and I own all of these cards. It actually didn't cost me a dime to pick these cards out and build the deck because I already had them. If this deck isn't expensive to you and you simply feel anything under $100 is budget, then your budget and my budget obviously vary.
Hence the reason I feel this is budget. I can afford it (even if i didn't have all the cards). And I would be able to pay my bills, buy food, put gas in my car, and even buy other shit. I am by no means wealthy either, but I "budget" (no pun intended) my finances so I can buy what I want.

Other cards that set up Tunnel Vision: Cards with clash, Aetherspouts, Hallowed Burial, Hide/Seek, Hinder, Junktroller, Mesmeric Sliver, Natural Obsolescence, Not Forgotten, Reito Lantern, Spin Into Myth, Terminus, Vessel of the Endless Rest. The problem with Tunel Vision is that the opponent usually has multiples of all of his cards.

It's just for fun. But you're right, the multiples part can be rough.

A couple Ghost Quarters might be a good way to help trigger your Archive Traps.

Sadly, the search is optional. Sure, you'll catch the opponent once, but unless is thick as a doorknob, he'll happily not trigger the trap.

I know, I figured you'd be ok with that, since the same can be said of Path. You still kill a land/creature with either card, in the end. Otherwise, what are the Traps in there for? Just in case? If so, they might not be appropriate as a four-of.

I know of only two cards where a library search is not optional, but they're unfortunately in green.

I didn't mean it was a bad idea, just pointing out that it's an optional search. Heck, if the opponent knowa what's happening and still searches, it basically advertises that he has something in hand that he definitely needs to play.
