Deck Description

WARNING: THIS IS AN EXPENSIVE DECK AND ISN'T LEGAL IN STANDARD.

A non-standard artifact "OTK" (one turn kill) deck. Black, red and blue.

How to Play

The goal of this "OTK" (One turn kill) deck is to have a lot of turns one after the other, no turn for your opponent means his mana stays tapped which means more freedom for sorceries, instants and artifacts.

For this combo to work you need at least 6 mana on the field, 2 of these need to be islands, the reason for this is you need enough mana to cast Part the Waterveil (3U2I), you also need Sword of Feast and Famine (3U) equipped to a creature WITHOUT summoning sickness so if you want to be safer you can do this on 9 mana or use Pore Over the Pages in your deck to draw enough cards and get enough mana for the combo. The Sword is most effective when used on Lightning Runner (3U2M) since it has haste and has the ability to give you multiple combat phases per turn. If all modules (Animation, Decoction and Fabrication) are on the field then you can use Lightning Runner's ability many times over due to the energy created and Sword of Feast and Famine's effect untapping ALL your mana.

Cards like Fatal Push (1S) are used to keep the field under control so you don't get burst down before you have your combo, Dhund Operative's (1U1S) are in the deck to keep early game as well due to the strength of their triggered ability (a 2 mana 3/2 with deathtouch is very good).

Gonti's Machinations (1S) and Mechanized Production (2U2I) are both a back up to your combo, Gonti's Machinations gives you more energy to use on your turns to get more combat phases and +1/+1 counters. Mechanized Production is this deck's second win condition and can be used on any artifact but Sword of Feast and Famine would have one of the biggest effects on board, but if you copy one of the modules it can also make for an insane energy turn especially with Panharmonicon (4U) which makes the artifact trigger twice and if you have many of the same module you can go out of control when it comes to energy.

S = Swamp

A good starting hand would be at least 1 island and 1 swamp, an evolving wilds or an Inventors Fair would be good too. Fatal Push, Dhund Operative and Gonti's Machinations are definitely keepers if you have the mana. DON'T play the Sword of Feast and Famine till you have to due to the many ways of destroying it before it activates and if that happens it gets rid of one of your win conditions. Always mulligan Sword of Feast and Famine, Trophy Mage (2U1I) is in this deck to pull it out when you need it and even when you use Trophy Mage once you can still pull useful artifacts in this case one of the modules (Fabrication).
