I have a huge thing for my decks all having a theme. This deck is representing nature slowly taking back the land mankind has stolen from it. If you would like to make it modern replace song of the dryad for lignify and wall of blossoms with hmmmmm one of the random creatures from the side board. I'm so stuck on my theme that I just really wanna keep those cards in.
The whole basis of the deck is really just biding your time and being resilient until you have the opportunity to crush. I play defensively and set up my walls and cards like song of the dryad are my back up for things I just cant handle. Vine lasher has the ability to get super big pretty quick and avenger of zendikar can help you swarm. If all else fails just survive until you can get pinnacle to go off and boom you win.Some other things I've thought of is that conjurers closet would be broken with all of the landfall cards with dryad arbor. that would be what I switched doubling season out for since I know its a really expensive card. Any helpful advice or feedback would be amazing.

Why no Gaea's Revenge? {5}{G}{G} for an 8/5 with Haste that can't be countered nor targeted by nongreen spells or abilities. It's also got the deck's name. I'd also take Overgrown Battlement to 4x. It just gives you so much mana.

I didn't even know that was a card lol I just liked the name. what would you suggest switching out for overgrown?
Sprouting Phytohydra? It costs 5 mana for a 0/2; and without a way to reliabley damage it without it dying, you'll only have 1 of it out most of the time. Have you thought of swapping Cultivate for Nissa's Pilgrimage? Effectively the same thing in a mono green deck, but with a chance to be slightly better thanks to Spell mastery. Khalni Garden is also worth considering. It drops a 0/1 Plant, which works well with Avenger of Zendikar.
