Affinity may be the #2 deck right now, but there's a card that completely demolishes Affinity: Shattering Spree.

Shattering Spree is a 1 Red Sorcerey that destroys a target artifact but you can replicate (copy) the spell for 1 Red! And even if they have counters, it doesn't matter! The spell is copied so they'd have to counter ALL the copies!
Example:
Opponent: (Playing Affinity) "Hah! Your puny creatures cant stand the power of Affinity! I have a bunch of 5/5s because of Ensoul Artifact!"
Me: (Mono-Red Aggro) "Cool Story Bro. (Plays Shattering Spree)"
Opponent: Oh NO! I don't have enough counters/Mana to negate this awesomeness!"
Me: Haha Lol. (Plays bunch of creatures with haste) Thats Game."
Opponent: "NOOOOOOOOO!"

In conclusion: Shattering Spree = Bane of Affinity
