Based on Pyromancer Ascension, this version (which is based on the Ascending All Over Again article written by Jacob Van Lunen on the MTG website) relies on countermagic and card draw until you are ready to burn the house down! Havent played yet in competition, but I have been able to get all my friends riled up over it. Even when I don't win, the games are still fun as you watch your opponent bite his nails trying to decide if they can actually play a spell that will stay on the battlefield. The sideboard is not ready for ops, rather the other cards that may need to be mainboarded based on what the user likes. The real sideboard will most likely rely on the Splinter Twin/Deceiver Exarch combo.
