Deck Description

This deck is a mono white Leonin tribal deck with Ajani, Caller of the Pride as the leader followed by Brimaz, King of Oreskos. Both of these cards generate tokens to establish more of a board presence. With a ton of small cost creatures this deck is designed to hit hard and fast. Ajani's Pridemate can become a massive threat fairly quickly if not dealt with quickly because there a lot of options for life gaining in this deck and each instance triggers a +1/+1 counter.

Deck discussion for Ajani's Pride

I strongly suggest working in some "Anthem" effects. Honor of the Pure and Spear of Heliod come to mind.

Staff of the Sun Magus isn't that great for two reasons. Firstly, it costs {3}, on turn 3 you want to be playing creatures. Secondly, it only triggers when YOU play cards and only for cards played AFTER it was put onto the battlefield. Replacing this with an Anthem will help a lot. Remember, you only have one creature that truly gains from the life gain.

Ajani's Chosen isn't doing much with only 7 enchantments in the deck. I'd replace the Leonin Snarecaster and some / all the Pride Guardian with more enchantments.

Going heavier on Enchantments, Ethereal Armor is a must.

The Aura named Lifelink is OK, but Spirit Link does the same job, just better. Where the ability Lifelink doesn't stack, ie multiple instances of Lifelink don't gain you multiple times the life, because of the way it's worded, Spirit Link does stack.

Ordeal of Heliod is pretty good too (10 life and three +1/+1 counters).

Spirit Mantle is a great way to get damage through.

Then you can also go the Pacifism route. There's a number of white enchantments that work like removal spells (Pacifism counts as a form of removal). My favourite Pacifism effect is a card called Temporal Isolation, mostly because it has flash. Then there's enchantments like Oblivion Ring that exile permanents.
