Modern Legal Goblin Deck with a Twist.

How to Play

Krenko + Intruder Alarm is a nearly infinite combo.
Paired with either Raid Bombardment or Purphorbro, that's basically game right then and there.
Pop out goblin tokens, swing, pop out more goblins. Repeat until you win.

i would take out the fervors and put in goblin warchiefs because they give your goblins haste but also reduces the cost of your goblins by 1 making your deck to run faster in my opinion

If I were to do that, I would have to drop something, and I don't know what I would drop. Any ideas? I was also thinking of adding a few bolts to the deck, either sideboard or mainboard. Thoughts?

u need more land I did a bunch of sample hands and keep getting mana scewed. goblin grenade might be good to

Since the deck's mana curve is so low, I don't need more than 18-19 lands. I don't want to continuously draw into lands when i don't need them. The deck can run off two mana for the entire game if necessary, but I did add in one land at the cost of a negate and tried the draw a sample hand. Every hand I pulled came up with either 2 or more lands.
Thanks for the advice though. If you think I should change anything else, let me know.

for krenko you need 4 lands and it was taking me till turn 8 or more to get 4

I would add 4 sulfur falls and take away 2 of each Island and Mountain. I agree with some of the posters above, I would cut 2 Teleportal and add 2 more lands. 21 lands for a deck with a high CMC of 4 is perfect.

Also, I would probably drop the 2 Fervors for some Goblin Grenades. You already have 4 of the Goblin Chieftains, so the Fervors are redundant and you can get better utility out of some Goblin Grenades.

If you wanted to get out of Modern, Goblin Matron or Goblin Recruiter would be nice. With only 2 copies of Krenko, and no way to tutor for him, it's going to be tough to pull off the inifinite combo with any regularity. You need a way to get him into your hand.

Yeah I don't see the point in wasting the sb space for that and forest. Those spots could be better utilized with more removal, counterspells, etc.

Biorhythm was honestly a joke card to throw in. I was planning on removing it when the deck was finally finished. Anything you'd recommend? Planning on throwing in vandal blast or something that's good for removal. Thoughts?

There's counterspell or vapor snag, I'm not really sure on modern legal burn spells. You could throw in draw like serum visions?

Pemmin's Aura would be a better choice, since it can save Krenko by giving him Shroud.

Although Pemmin's Aura would be nice, I do agree. I would like to keep the deck modern legal if at all possible. Freed From Real would be nice so that if someone tries to kill Krenko in response, I can just untap him and continue my combo.
If you guys could find me some things to drop, I'll gladly add them in.

I'm not sold on Teleportal at all, so in my opinion I would remove 2 teleportal and add 2 Freed from the Real (since you only have 2 copies of Krenko in here).

Mana Leak is fine, but I feel that Empty The Warrens is too slow for the deck. I'm trying to drop Krenko and mass produce tokens. I don't see many things being able to trigger the storm ability.

Empty the warrens for longer games maybe , one on one yes it may be a touch slow ! The new squid rare guy from m15 could be fun if your not keeping the goblin idea , maybe a couple dissolve on sideboard for srcy for the combination

I'm trying to keep the goblin feel because of Goblin Chieftain giving them all haste. Squid guy wouldn't have haste and he only gets pumped by me drawing cards right? I'm planning on dropping Krenko and then immediately winning. If that doesn't happen, then the deck falls short or runs out of steam.

It is. Have Intruder Alarm out and Krenko. Tap Krenko to make Goblins which untaps Krenko. Tap Krenko to make more goblins which untaps krenko. RInse and repeat infinite times.

It is infinite, but it's not unstoppable. For instance, if I tap Krenko and you then respond to the ability, I can't do too much about it. It's a slightly better version of the Kiki-Jikki x Pestermite combo, only because you get more creatures faster and they're pumped due to other goblins.

I think I'd rather use lightning greaves if I was going that route. Cheaper and cheaper activation. Plus, I don't really have any spells that specifically target him anyway. I mean, besides freed from the real, but that's an easy fix. Throw it on another goblin then move it back.
What should I drop in my sideboard for a sweet pair of lightning greaves?

I am a tad curious here, I see the infinite combo with krenko, intruder alarm and purphoros. but you say there is an infinite attack combo here, but I can't see it. or am I off in saying that?
