Deck Description

EDH B/W deck using Obzedat as commander. Deck is built to drain life using extort and life drain spells/abilities while pumping the players health. This is designed for multiplayer format. Win Con comes primarily from the X mana life drain effects that hit multiple players, although it is capable of beating down players with flying demons and angels.

How to Play

Wear down all players using obzedat, extort, life drain/gain effects. Use the extra life for card drawing advantage from the multitude of draw effects. The deck has several long term effects to keep players from building up a large army on top of some spot removal to take out key targets. There is also some solid mana ramp in crypt ghast, cabal coffers, magus of the coffers, caged sun, liliana, and the hangar to fuel the "X" life drain spells and all the extorts. Eventually it will draw into a debt for the deathless, exsanguinate, or sanguine bond/exquisite blood for the win.

Deck discussion for Extortionist

I have ordered some of these cards but still looking for improvements. I have not had a chance to play test so suggestions are welcome. I am trying to maintain a balance of life drain, life gain, draw card effects, mana acceleration, and ways to slow down my opponent. I am not trying to make this into a massive life gain deck, that is just a way to keep the attrition game going as long as possible, so I may remove soul warden for more spot removal. I would include vindicate if it werent so darn expensive. This deck seems like it will draw a lot of hate in multiplayer when certain cards hit the field (looking at you painful quandary).
