Deck Description

Plan A - win by Metalwork Colossus - fling combo
Plan B - win by infinite thopters (Whirler Virtuoso + Decoction Module)
Plan C - win by Making your Cascading Cataracts fly via Nissa, Steward of Elements

How to Play

The first plan is to buy some time by looking for a Metalwork Colossus and fling it for a massive instant 10 damage, the second is to win by whirler virtuoso by creating tons and infinite thopters to win, the third is by using Nissa's Ult by by making your Cascading Cataracts fly. Mana and Colors are not problems because you can change the color of colorless mana with colors via Prophetic Prism; also, you can draw the cards that you need because of Take Inventory, Prophetic Prism and Hedron Archives. Remember, for plan A, we need to look for a Metalwork Colossus right? Since we already found a Metalwork, we could sac "Sanctum of Ugin" to look for another Metalwork Colossus. and instantly fling the 2 in order to win. Please feel free to comment for changes and adjustments. :)

Deck discussion for Metalfling Colossus

Off the bat, I'd say it needs more caravan's. The caravan shaves 4 mana off the cost of the metal giant, and the hedron takes off 6. Together they take the 11 down to 1 mana, so earliest you couls fling this guy is turn 5. Which is meh, and without any other artifacts to sacrifice you'd recur him and be stuck with an 11 casting cost creature. So, your turn one and turn two drops need to be focused on either more mana ramp or more artifacts. Preferably both. Also, no viable way to dig for fling, either through tutor effects or draw, which creates a challenge.

Also, since we're counting on reducing the mana cost to play it, I doubt that ugin would fetch a second copy off of the first metalwork colossus. Unfortunately I'm more familiar with modern than with standard m so I can't be much more help here. Modern makes the strat so much easier to employ though.

Currently, in the standard meta I didn't find anything to draw out fling easily, if there is a card good enough to draw that silly old fling, it would be great.

I could use Hieroglyphic but what can I remove from the deck?

Decoction Module and whirler, and put them in the side board. The backup plan doesn't interact well at all with the fling/colossus combo, so it really feels like an either or, based on match-up, kinda deal.
