Deck discussion for Hopeful Infect

I could have sworn Invigorate had a modern printing, and I'm sad to see it doesn't because that would tip the scale of this deck past where it stands now, which is already fantastic. Losing Probe definitely sucks, but in some ways I think gaining Hope is an improvement and I almost feel like it would have replaced Probe anyway...You go from checking if you can play things to putting your foot down and playing those things damn it. As I've openly said many times before, I really do not care for Modern as a format. However this...This looks fun to play.

EDIT: I feel like I'm missing something with Thought Scour, I'm very tired so please explain =]

If Invigorate was modern legal, either it or Blighted Agent would have to go. Possibly both, as WotC is already iffy on Infect since it's a turn two to four deck. Probe hurts even with Hope, Jund doesn't have to care, but between Hope and Spellskite it's at least as manageable as it was for right landmass versions. Getting an uncounterable Blighted Agent, and having it sit uncontested until you get your mana back up is huuuuge. I'm still iffy myself on the format, everything I like seems to wind up getting hit by association, but this is just fun.

Thought Scour feeds Become Immense, and Traverse the Ulvenwald. It's also an instant, so draw go into end of turn fun can happen like some kind of bootleg Brainstorm.

I am having a bit of trouble trying to work in Slaughterhorn (tutorable boost!) by the way, as the list is already so tight, but it's something that is just so tempting that I really want to make it happen.

Ah...Become Immense. Got it now. I've been on the receiving end of Invigorate mixed with Mutagenic Growth in infect and it's a pretty nasty surprise when it happens. I still have to say I love the idea of a Hope EDH. It's such a different kind of colorless general, it would be a very fresh take on the idea I think. Hmmm...I'll have to think about Slaughterhorn

Looks like a fun deck to use.

And... yes, I'm not dead. Ha!
