Deck Description

Pretty simple, trying to cheat out Emrakul.
Original, huh?
I am just using Manifest to do so.

How to Play

Step 1. Get Emrakul on top of your library.
Use Sigiled Starfish, Sensei's Divining Top, Condescend, Temple of Enlightenment, and Brainstorm.

Step 2. Manifest Emrakul.
Use Lightform and Soul Summons to Manifest Emrakul.

Step 3. Use Blink effect.
Use Flickerwisp and Cloudshift to flip your Emrakul.

Congrats, you are the new owner of a cute little Spaghetti creature.

that combo is great but its so expensive I use dark ritual entomb goryo's vengeance to cheat emrak on turn 1
cheaper cards you only get emrak for 1 turn but that should be enough

i actually don't see the pont of playing a deck like that!
emrakul turn1...

you won? yes.
was it funny? no.
did you actually play a game? no.
would i play again against you? no.

and not because i've lost, but because we did not play.

I understand that.
Interaction is very important.

Hello Jessie, well i think your version of tricky emrakul is ok, if i'm not missing something your deck is not the kind of play him at turn 1 and "hello opponent go home now"!!
my comment was addressed to those above who were pushing the t1 combo :D

but it's just my opinion ;)

Nope. It isn't a turn 1 cheat, by far.
Thank you!

To be fair, lots of Legacy decks are interactive. The only decks that really don't are dredge and storm and even those have certain ways to interact. Sneak and Show probably has the least amount of interaction for being one of the more fair decks.
Also, Sneak and Show is shit on by one card, Containment Priest. Also Ensnaring Bridge. You can Oblivion Ring Emrakul, you can minus a Liliana or diabolic edict. The turn 1 Emrakul in sneak and show happens, but not nearly as often as you might think.
That said, I can understand how 60-70 dollars for a single card seems like a lot to spend for a casual player.

Legacy decks are actually the cheapest decks to build from a competitive sense over the long run compared to lets say Standard. I'd rather have a banned list instead of a rotation and i guarantee everyone else feels the same exact way as me. They'd prefer to actually be able to use their cards instead of being told to get bent and buy new ones.

Fact. 2000 dollars once compared to 300-500 dollars every three months. I'll play legacy mkay thanks.

Amen to that especially with the way Standard is going to be once they start doing rotations twice a year now.

Besides most "casual" decks fit the format classification of Legacy decks anyway so whether you know it or not you're already playing the format just with really really bad decks.

Couch, Aaron, Chevaton...
Nice conversation.
+1 For everyone!
I agree with both Couch and Aaron.
That is why I do not play Standard.
I mainly hate the idea of paying 300 dollars to be competitive...and then 6 months later my deck is worth 50 dollars. Who wants to lose 250 dollars?
With Legacy, the staples do not go down in price.
Your 2,000 dollar legacy deck will almost always remain a 2,000 dollar legacy deck.
And Aaron has caught me. Most of my decks are already Legacy Casual anyways. Which means they would be brutally butt raped in a real Tourney.
But I build Legacy Budget Casual because of the sheer number of cards available to choose from.
But with that said...I have grown to hate the Spike attitude around Legacy. Yuck!
If you can't build a Legacy deck that can win by Turn 3 then you suck and do not know what the hell you are doing and should not shame other Legacy players with your crappy decks. I hate that.

Let me introduce you to Legacy Miracles. You don't win until turn 10 at the earliest assuming you entreat the angels for 1 on turn 3, but you lock your opponent out of the game so hard that your opponent just eventually gives up. Because Sensei's Divining Top and Counterbalance is disgusting.
There is also Death and Taxes, you don't win early, and you have game against everything. However, it is a deck that rewards competent play and shits on you if you only somewhat understand what you're supposed to do.
All variants of Stoneblade take much longer to win and also reward competent play since you have so many options and have to really have an in-depth understanding of the sequencing involved.
Then there is Burn which is back to tier 1 to 1.5 thanks to Eidolon of the Great Revel.
Variants of Delver.
The only decks that win on turn 1-3 are Storm, Elves, Dredge and Sneak and Show will occasionally win on turn 3. And let's be honest, dredge doesn't really play magic, it plays whatever sick game that is dredge.

Yeah, but that's mainly modern. But it is fun for you, at first anyway. People will also stop versing you because your deck is so disgustingly good that they can't beat it and don't ever enjoy themselves (even though the way to win is extremely obvious and they just suck)

However, Jessie. I love the deck idea and it looks more annoying then my Possibility Storm Emrakul deck:

And if I do meet you IRL, then we had both better hope we have your cheat Emrakul decks handy

a better manifest engine would be write into being just so you arent relying on the one card you manifest to be emrakul because it is very rare that you are able to manifest that exact card and with only 8 chances you might run out of manifest cards before manifesting a emrakul. just a thought.

Put into sideboard for consideration.

And the key is that I have 15 cards that make sure Emrakul is on top of the library.
I use those 15 cards and it doesn't make me fear only having 8 manifest cards.

Since this isn't budget, and I am a huge fan of cheating out Emrakul (I play mono red sneak attack, yes I'm a terrible person) You might want to put 4 Counterbalance into the deck. I'd replace Condescend for it. Divining Top + Counter Balance = Opponent now hates life and magic.
I would also sideboard 4 Chalice of the Void. Chalice for 1 or 2 against elves and they hate life forever, unless they reclamation sage or cavern of souls, but it's still terrible to play against for anything running mostly 1 and 2 drops. Like Zoo, or Jund.

Added Frost Walker to the sideboard.
What do you think?
I think he could rock with something like Cloudform or Lightform.
Manifest him with Lightform to make him a 4/1 creature with lifelink and flying.

I like it better with cloudform because than his downside doesnt exist anymore.

If he becomes the target of spell or ability, if he is in play.
If he is on top of your library (because of Scry), and you use Cloudform to Manifest him face down, he keeps Cloudform when he is turned face up!!!

4/1 creature with flying and hexproof.

Futhermore...when you Manifest Frost Walker face down with Cloudform, while he is facing downward, you can pump him up full of enchantments:

Example.

Turn 3. Cloudform to enchant Frost Walker (use all the scry to make sure Walker is on top of library).
Turn 4. Eel Umbra and Ghostly Wings on your downfacing Frost Walker.
Turn 5. Turn Frost Walker face up for his mana cost.

Outcome= He keeps all the enchantments.
He is a 6/3 with flying, unable to be blocked, hexproof, and can be returned to your hand by discarding a card.

I might do a g/w version to use whisperwood elemental
manifest is turning out to be an interesting mechanic

1

I would suggest adding at least 4 on colour fetch lands would help rid of rubbish cards on the top of your deck that you see with top and brainstorm and if you do that you might want to consider adding some shock lands. Heck you could even add scry lands

1

Most likely a great suggestion.
Probably do need to do that since the deck is already 300 dollars.
Which ones would you add?

Flooded Strand?

There, I changed it.
Hope you like.
