Deck Description

A Mono White Mill Deck.
Only the second one ever made on Mtgvault.
This one is Infinite.

Combo deck built around 3 cards:

Step 1. Play Myr Moonvessel
Step 2. Play Grinding Station
Step 3. Play Enduring Renewal

Idea is to have all 3 cards on the battlefield.
Step 1. Sacrifice Myr Moonvessel to Grinding Station.
Opponent mills 3 cards into his graveyard.
Myr Moonvessel gives you 1 colorless mana when it enters graveyard.
Step 2. Enduring Renewal brings back Myr Moonvessel to your hand.
Step 3. Replay Myr Moonvessel and put him back into the battlefield.
Step 4. Grinding Station untaps itself.
Step 5. Sacrifice Myr Moonvessel to Grinding Station.
Opponent mills 3 cards into his graveyard.
Myr Moonvessel gives you 1 colorless mana when it enters graveyard.

Repeat steps 2-5 over and over!!!
Infinite Mill

How to Play

All the cards not involved in the combo are for fetching the combo and protecting the combo and yourself until the combo hits the table.

Enlightened Tutor finds the combo pieces.
Orim's Chant makes sure the combo works.
Swords to Plowshares and Gather the Townsfolk buys you defense.
Oblivion Ring nukes any pesky artifact/enchantments.
Rest for the Weary slows down aggro damage.
Argivian Find buysback your combo pieces from the graveyard.
Story Circle adds further stall against your opponent.

With most Combo decks, friends, all the extra cards support/fetch/help the combo.

Jessssiiieee

We should play MTGO. ^.^

We probably should :)
I am a computer novice though.
Not sure how to set it up or how to go through the steps.
I am dumb.

Yeah. I just tried playing it. its not as awesome as I anticipated.

Have you tried Cockatrice?
I think that is the name of it.
It is free.
But you have to use backdoor entry points and it keeps getting shut down because you don't pay for the cards.
Lots of people use it on here.
And you would probably beat the pants off me if we ever played!!!

I've never used it, no. :(

I'm not that good. I'm very average.

You are average in your group.
But from I sense of your group, they are an above average group of players.
Most people I ever played were people who played cheap Kitchen Table decks.

I have no idea. I've never played anywhere else. :P

I do suppose that they are pretty good. We have like 8-10 average players and at least 5 of them have won tournaments, 3 of them have won numerous. So, I suppose they are pretty good, yeah.

So an average player in your group is an above average player everywhere else.
You would beat my butt!

And over the last year I sorta got burnt out on trying to make killer decks.
I...somewhere...went from being a Spike to being a Johnny player.
Now I take pride in making Themed Decks, Unique decks, etc etc.

I like my decks. ^.^

I've made a mix of themed decks and power decks.

My newest EDH deck is pretty unique. I don't know how many people have done anything like that.

Maybe.
Mana cost is sorta high. I want to win by the time she would usually start working.
And my opponent will get to see my cards with Enduring Renewal...meaning they will see it coming and will nuke it asap.
I have Gather the Townsfolk.
Opponent is more likely to let me have that card. Not counter or nuke it.

My newest deck.

I swear, Searing Meditation has to combo with about every card in the deck!
It should be a case study of Synergy in a Magic deck.

Enduring Renewal + Cheap/Free creatures engine is a classic. I like Enduring Renewal + Ornithopter + Ashnod's Altar (or Phyrexian Altar) to get unlimited mana. With infinite mana I can do awful things.

Why Gather the Townsfolk? Tokens don't recur via Renewal, don't untap the Station and they aren't enough to mill the opponent.

Then Serra's Sanctum - I don't see it accelerating anything given the fact that you only run 9 enchantments and all of them cost 3 or 4!
Personally I don't like Rest of the Weary, it doesn't improve board position. If you replaced it with a defensive enchantment, for example Nyx-Fleece Ram, Blind Obedience, Greater Auramancy or Journey to Nowhere, then Serra's Sanctum might be useful.

I know having 3-ofs is your schtick but in a combo deck you should have the combo cards 4 times, in this case missing out the Enduring Renewal is a no-go.

Be aware that Enduring Renewal has the drawback that you won't draw creatures anymore. So you need to have at least one Vessel in hand/play by the time you play the Renewal. This also means Enlightened Tutor will not get you a Vessel in hand.

Okay, so we finally did all colours as mono-mill and can move to something else? ;) Jessie, check out my newest creation, you'll love it:
http://www.mtgvault.com/puschkin/decks/chained-to-the-anvil/

It can act as a mill-deck, too, but is actually nastier than that :P

Nice deck mate, got to love infinite combos. Don't have many suggestions for this deck.. but if you're looking for another infinite combo here you could use Painter's Servant and Grindstone. Not sure what you would take out, but that would give you two different infinite mill combos in your deck.

If you've got some time, check out my newest deck on here.. it's about dragons :) Suggestions are always appreciated.

But I would love deck talk with someone whose judgement I can trust. (Like yourself.)

Would love to discuss anything you are working on.
