Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
Deck inspired by using an enemy's creatures against them in a cunning fashion. And doing it smugly, too boot. Not to mention Merieke Ri Berit looks similar to River is you look closely. I built it tonight out of random cards I had laying around (or could trade for) after finally finding Merieke locally for $1. The deck is finished and rather mean, but will continue to be tweaked. I'll leave update notes (+/-) in the comments section so you can track progress and change the deck to suit your needs. I'm open to suggestions and feedback, too! How do *I* play this deck? Unfortunately most of my friends have seen it up and running and tend to target me quickly as soon as Merieke hits the field. That said, your best best is probably to make use of the following:You absolutely must start with the ability to produce one mana of each color. Of course most of you already knew that.Avoid pulling aggro early. Keep Merieke in the Commander Zone for as long as possible. Tutor for Avacyn and Swiftfoot Boots. Once you've got Avacyn + Boots, everything you do is moderately safe. Cloud Cover is also a great card during this phase.Hunt for your Fatestitcher, Unbender Tine, or Minamo, School at Water's Edge. You'll want a way to untap Merieke. With Avacyn on the field, any time you untap you don't actually destroy what you were controlling, and due to the way Merieke reads (Gain control of target creature as long as you control Merieke Ri Berit) you'll amass an army of your opponents' creatures. Profit???
