Penny Magic is a challenge http://www.mtgvault.com/ninjasheeps/ and i are doing where we build decks that cost less than 10 dollars (mtgvault low, excluding basic lands) using card from any set and play them against each other. Perfect for casual players who want fun decks for cheapthis is my mono black storm deck trying to set up a couple Grim Haruspex and/or Dark Prophecy and then storm off with your mana dorks(lands are in sideboard because mtgvault factors in the cost of basic lands if they are in your main deck)
try to get down a couple of your draw outlets before sacrificing your creatures cause the goal is to cast 9 other spells and then Tendrils of Agony so try to save all your action for one turnyou actually get ahead on mana with carnival of souls, culling of the weak, and unearth so you generally want to have one of those before you try to storm off just to be sure you'll be able to cast your Tendrils of Agony

I did try him originally but the colorless Mana caused me to fizzle more often than it already does

I like the idea and the idea of the deck challenge I will take a look.
My friend at school made his own storm deck and it seems way better than this one, he basically has no creatures though which I, to a certain extent, agree that should be changed. But overall ive been interested in playing storm for a while now so, gets my thumbs up!
yeah its hard to make storm work for $10 but this isn't the worst deck and thanks for the thumbs up
yeah, it is a little hard to make a lot of decks work under $10. so anything even remotely consistent could be considered noteworthy.

I honestly dig this Idea. it's like pauper but not broken(older commons are more expensive), and not restricted to commons(which means ultra-cheap rares aren't possible)Also, Dig the name since I'm kind of a Johnny and like building decks around super weird combos.

no problem. Want to see some of the brews I'm working on? so far I have implements+atog+fling/Key2thecity , and Booty combo, both in standard. Also if I can come up with some massive ramp I came up with a speed-mill deck in standard.(fleet swallower+fraying sanity)
If your basic lands are from a Commander set they won't count toward the price of the deck.
