If you Google food chain decks you'll notice that the only dig is brainstorm. You'd also notice the difference in the Mana base.

Don't forget about gitaxian probe. While you can't use it at instant speed, it could let you know if you can do the combo without any interruptions.

I run a deck similar to this. Very fun to play. Would think of adding surgical extraction and/or extirpate. Brain maggot is similar to sculler if you need more creatures with hand removal. Has this been tested?
