Deck discussion for G/W Hatebears (Modern)

I'm actually not a fan of Renegade Rallier in this list, without feth lands it seems very difficult to trigger Revolt, the rest of the list looks solid otherwise, I think I would max out of Thalia, guardian of thraben, ND even think about playing Thalia, heretic Cathar, she's been impressive in lists I've seen her in.

Loxodon Smiter might also be a good option to play.
Dryad militant would be a very good 1 cmc creature, really good at screwing with Snapcaster Mage.

Doesn't seem that hard to trigger Revolt since it says when a permanent leaves the battlefield so you got Flickerwisp and Resto Angels to also trigger it.

Would be much easier fetchlands, so you can trigger it more consistantly. Otherwise it's something that Eternal witness could do but not as flexible.

Can't really play Fetchlands with 4x Leonin Arbiter.
Hatebears is essentially Death & Taxes. It taxes you too if you play the fetchlands.

I know that, which is why I feel rallier isn't the best for this style of deck, fetches are the best way of triggering it.

Thanks for the pointers! I was thinking of this being a more value-esque type deck that wanted to kind of abuse renegade rallier's ability since it's pretty damn amazing. I thought that maybe creatures like Selfless Spirit, Restoration Angel, Flickerwisp, and some even some of my lands would be able to help with the revolt trigger.

I was considering running Loxodon Smiter since I've seen him in some other lists, but I noticed that those decks also ran Noble Hierarch (or some other mana dork) to help power them out turn 2. Honestly, the Brimaz and Eternal Witness were basically flex spots for me and I could switch them out for Thalia, Heretic Cathar but I'll test them out and see which I prefer. As for the Militant, I really do want to add her as well because her ability is pretty debilitating to control decks, just don't know what to remove for it though.

I love Death and Taxes. I've been playing it and Hatebear variants for years.
A few suggestions: I'd run 3-4 Tectonic Edge. You really want a focus on land destruction and sometimes the Ghost Quarters just aren't enough.

Another thing I noticed was that you're running so many Green/White creatures. How would you feel about 2x Wilt-Leaf Liege? It's a monster with Voice of Resurgance and the Renegade Rallier.

Have you thought about your 1-drop slot?
Obviously AEther Vial is incredible turn 1, but it's not guarantee'd you'll draw it. I'm a big fan of running some Dryad Militant. Especially if you're willing to try out the Wilt-Leaf Liege.

With 4 Flickerwisp and 4 Restoration Angel, you might want to ponder about Thought-Knot Seer and/or Blade Splicer.

But even with all these suggestions, it looks like a fun deck with some sick synergies. I've been brewing a Rallier build of D&T for a while now because of how good it is with Ghost Quarter/Tectonic Edge. Love it.

I was thinking of running more Tectonic Edges, but I was kinda afraid of running to many colorless sources because I really do need my colors since some of the casting costs of my creatures are pretty restrictive. If I were to add another Tectonic Edge I'll probably just switch a Stirring WIldwood for it.

Wilt-Leaf Liege is amazeballs in W/G but I was a little hesitant because of it's casting cost being 3 colored sources. I don't know if I would really add it in this deck but if I were to make a different one with mana dorks that can reliably cast them early I would slot them in easily.

I really wanted to add the Militant but I honestly didn't know what I would cut for them. Thought-Knot I'm not a huge fan of in this type of deck unless I have Eldrazi Temple's and if I were to add them both I would probably just play the B/W Eldrazi and Taxes that seems to be doing pretty well. Blade Splicer is a solid choice for any flicker based and honestly I thinking it would work here but I would probably need to do some testing before determining what I would need to cut before adding them in.

Thank you for the different type of card recommendations, I'll definitely try them each out!
