this is a really nice budget deck!
what about lyev decree? might be a little more flexible than master of diversions?
and phalanx leader in place of capashen knight?

check out my U/W detain deck

thanks!

That phalanx leader would be perfect! Thanks for the suggestion. Lyev Decree would work really well in this deck also but I'd like to keep master of diversions. It really helps since everytime he attacks I get to tap an opponents creature. When I get 2 or more of them out its a huge help. I may substitute something else for Lyev Decree though.

Interesting deck! How about Banisher Priest? Or is that not budget-friendly enough? :-)

Haha I did have a few of them in here but didn't like them in the deck. And in all honesty I built this deck with no budget in mind. It just came together like this haha

Well I like the cheapness of the deck all the same :p I'm gonna make the deck as well, since I've already got half of the cards needed :-)

That's awesome! When I posted this deck and found this website I didn't think my deck would be popular haha. Glad you enjoy it! I'll be posting more in a few days.

I made my own version of this deck :-) I switched out Riot Control and Wingsteed Riders (I don't like them, they seem to bring me only bad luck :p) for some other things. Gonna test this soon :-)

You might want to take a look at adding a couple Champion of the Parishes since they have such great synergy in human decks. Also you could replace the Pacifisms with Journey to Nowhere, and replace the Arrests with Oblivion Rings. Swapping these would give you semi-harder removal since Pacifisms don't stop activated/triggered abilities, and the Oblivion Rings can get rid of more than just creatures. Bonds of Faith could also be an option because it could act as either a Pacifism or a buff to you creatures.

How's this deck working out for you sofar? I see you've made some changes, like Banisher Priest?
I copied your deck (http://www.mtgvault.com/spiffmeister/decks/control-human/) and made some changes as well. Especially the 2 extra mana has done wonders! Now I'm just looking to switch Hopeful Eidolon for something more supportive. Maybe I will have to add Spear of Heliod, but I don't want to go below 20 creatures... Also I don't want to add Heroic creatures, because there's not enough spells that target a specific creature...

It works out pretty well for me. Glad you enjoy it! Spear of Heliod would be a good add to this deck. Im definitly still looking for suggestions so please feel free to let me know how it works for you.

Well I added Excoriate, and it is a devastating combo with all the tapping :D I played it yesterday in multiplayer and did very well! Untill some dude destroyed all creatures... but still :-) It's a fun deck!
