Deck discussion for Nahiri-Jiki Modern

I'm a bit confused with the mechanics of the deck. Am I correct in assuming Nahiri is used to pull out those legendary creatures? But what is Kiki-Jiki used for? To copy the restoration Angels, which can bounce your creatures? If that's the case, wouldn't it be more efficient to use something like Cloudshift instead? Was just wondering.

Kiki-jiki + restoration angel is a infinite combo.. Kiki copy angel, angel bounce kiki, kiki copy angel again and so on to have a giant army of hasty flying angel.. I think he's trying to build a triple win-con deck.. Nahiri ulti + kiki angel + reanimate..

Ha ha, some time after leaving the comment I realized what he was going for. Cheat creature into play with Nahiri, flicker it with Restoration Angel, resetting it, so it remains permanently in play.

That doesn't work cause Kiki can only target non-legendary creatures.

He uses Kiki for an infinite combo with the Restoration Angel. Copies the Angel, Angel bounces Kiki, rinse and repeat infinitely.

Why not run goryo's vengeance in this deck? If you are planning on flickering whatever comes back, then it will let you enable more plays and profitable blocks.

I don't get kalitas in this deck. I get it in a grindy midrange deck, but this is so combo orientated that it makes no sense. Also, a combo deck with no hand disruption? I'd say take out all fatal pushes, and a kalitas, and put in 4 one mana discard spells. Like 3 inquisition and 1 thoughtseize or something. Then add or reduce the number of thought seizes dependent on how bad or good your burn matchup is. Fatal push is strictly worse than bolt imo and the exile clause on path is super relevant in the jund and abzan matches, never mind it being far better against tron than push. Jund, abzan and torn are like the majority of the meta at the moment. I would advise putting the pushes in your sideboard, to deal with fringe aggro decks and more mainstream ones like infect and suicide zoo. Inquisition is still good vs some of those fringe decks, just not as good as push, but push is literally completely dead vs one of the main decks in the format and has no targets. So yeah push is your worst removal in the deck and could be cut for discard.

In any other archetype i wouldn't make this argument though cause jund has no good 1 mana removal other than bolt so it makes sense there, and abzan only has path to exile and pathing their birds of paradise on turn one is just a losing battle so push makes sense there too. In mardu, you already have really good one mana removal spells, so fatal push doesn't make much sense for it too be there.

May i also ask, why void winnower, i'm sure you have a good reason i'm just perplexed? Is it good vs burn?
