d00d...Give Torpid Moloch some Love! He is SO not useless....Hes seriously good for Quick Defense. with just land draws, You can get 3 of them out on the second turn....It may not be amazing, but for casual play, Having 3 2/3s out on turn 2 isnt bad.

Um... How? It isn't a great card, but it isn't at the same level of suckiness that the cards on this list. It allows you to draw a card, and allows you to play cards of a color that isn't normally in your deck. Or it also helps if your lands are lopsided, and you need just one more of the other color in something other than a mono colored deck.

thalia is insanely good

0
Posted 23 September 2012 at 08:34

Regardless of the ability, a 2/1 first striker for two is not a bad card. Her ability shuts down decks. Storm and other combo decks fizzle if Thalia resolves because they can't pay for their spells. Slowing the opponent down creates an opportunity for you to win. That's why she is legendary.

2

yea if thalia wasnt legendary she would be mythic rare her ability is insanely good for aggro decks playing aggainst control. how you dont see that amazes me lawl :p

Her ability doesnt suck, far from it. Shes just different...Her ability you have to plan around, Its not overpowered from the start like a lot of cards that have fallen victim to Power Creep.

Juju Bubble is the worst card i see, but is already in the list. Llanowar Vanguard is one i hated so much too, because alone is totally useless (even with a untap effect on your side i dont see much use here, there are walls for the same mana cost that dont depend of another card to have 5 toughness ). farbog boneflinger. its not so bad compared to some of the other cards on the list but when you compare it to a card like skinrender, its completely outclassed more expensive and weaker in every way. in fact i woulnt use it even if i was trying to play standard.

0
Posted 23 September 2012 at 20:24

its not that farbog is bad, its that skinrender is really really really good.

Imagine if hill giant got to kill pretty much all the standard bombs out there right now.

farbog isn't actually that bad.

I would take keening banshee or the new one that dies and does -2/-2 to a creature, or torch slinger, which I can kick for 5 total, or play for just 3 instead. I think hat boneflinger is just to inflexible and to costly for the ability.

0
Posted 05 October 2012 at 08:09

also i think deep water could be useful in a multi color deck if you used alot creatures with lots of blue mana symbols.

0
Posted 23 September 2012 at 20:28

also i dont like cyclopean snare. a vary expensive tapping mechanism 5 mana to tap target creature. although i can see how it can have a couple of uses most of them wouldnt even be relevant to its tapping abillity.

Do you mean defensive formation? It's not bad at all. It's a 1 drop, and choosing how the damage is inflicted to blocking creatures can save their asses, or can save the really big ones you need to keep on the battlefield.

Nix is VERY close to being useless, but not quite.
My vote would go to "Rath's Edge"
"Tap, Add 1 to your mana pool.
4, Tap, Sacrifice a land: Rath's Edge deals 1 damage to target creature or player."

1. Its Legendary, So you can only have ONE.
2. You have to Sac a Land, an only get 1 Damage in return for it.
3. It Costs 4...For that kind of Mana you could toss a Lava Spike, for 3 damage.
4. Its only adds Colorless
5. It has to Tap to do its LandSac for Damage thing....So its typically a once per turn use thing.
6. Its a Rare, So if you did find something usefull about this, It would be hard to find.

Thoughts?

0
Posted 24 September 2012 at 09:01

While I agree that it would be difficult to play, I don't think it's half as useless as the cards on my list. Play it with Crucible of Worlds, Fastbond, and a way to untap it, and you have an instant win combo (provided you have 1 more life).

Alternatively, this card fits REALLY well with Valakut, the molten Pinnacle and Crucible of Worlds. 4 damage (or more if you have more valakuts out) every turn. It would even help you mana accell because you can float the mana before you sac the mountain, then play the mountain again and tap it a second time.

There are ways to use the card, albeit unconventional ways.

I've seen this deck get over 100 likes since it has been updated. Why are people still bothering to posts comments and like this "deck" when it is being ignored by the creator?

If this gets attention then I'll at least try to be productive:

Ember Shot

Sorrow's Path

As I had suggested before, but I feel I need to repeat myself, also they are both terrible cards.

0
Posted 25 September 2012 at 05:54

I would say "Mirror Gallery". Lets face it, you would only use it to get more than one legendary creature out with the same name... which in turn screams "destroy me" when you do which results in all your hard earned legendary cards being removed via a state based action... The card should have had indestructible as well for 5 mana meaning you only need to protect it from exile but as it stands, it sets you up for a trap rather than aiding your progress.

Rakalite is by far one of my favorite cards ever you clearly don't see a use for it. I mean sure there are other ways of preventing damage but it always you to target all legal targets for damage. Say for example someone wants to be funny and plays Volcanic Fallout (mass damage to everyone and everything) I can there by selectively have the damage dealt out and be in control.
