Varolz is key to using this deck. Get him out on the field as fast as possible. Death's Shadow and Phyrexian Dreadnought are your main scavenge fodder. Being 1 drops and having really high base powers makes each of the creature's scavenge cost low. If you cast either creature on Turn 1 (and ignore the Dreadnought's text), both die as soon as they hit the battlefield. Buried Alive is a good way to get the Shadow and Dreadnought in the graveyard. Dredge Golgari Thug, Life from the Loam, and Dakmor Salvage for more graveyard action going on. Putrefy and Hero's Demise are there for control. Gather the Pack is another way of getting creatures into your hand or graveyard.
