Deck Description

Basic Idea
It wasn't my intention but ultimately this deck was built as pauper deck. It's an aggro control deck relying on level-up creatures and Venerated Teacher to beat your opponent. I stumbled upon this card while searching for blue creatures to add to my pauper cube.

Tests
I have tested this deck against other pauper decks. The decks I tested against are a mixture of Control and Aggro and the result are recorded in a spreadsheet. If you're interested in details from the spreadsheet, feel free to ask.

I'm open to all suggestions and ideas that may help to improve this deck.

How to Play

As the level-up abilitys of your creatures are far to expensive to be used consistently, the key-creature to this deck is [[Venerated Teacher]] in combination with [[Cloudshift]]. With e.g. [[Ikiral Outrider]] on the battlefield, you play one teacher, Cloudshift him (2x ETB trigger) and you got yourself a 3/10 creature with vigilance, and this should at least slow most pauper other decks. [[Brainstorm]] should help to get those cards into your hand and control what you draw.

Deck discussion for W/U Pauper: Level up

Thrummingbird reprinted common in Modern Masters 2015 and Fuel for the cause counter target spell and proliferate . Need some Plains to get those white creatures out. This is my primary pauper deck, lots of fun.

Totally forgot about the manabase. That's the problem when you built a deck and don't finish it immediately ;)
Thank you for the suggestions, I will take a look at those and also look for some other proliferate spells.
