This is just another deck idea for playing defense and still being able to help teammates. I can't help it; I love making defensive combo decks with intricacy. The basic concept this time around is using Possibility Storm to get the other combos out as quick as possible for a team-effective strategy.
The initial combo is Storm and Squadron Hawks, as they automatically fetch and filter out themselves so that the next three played will guarantee the "Big 3." The Shusher is for that "Mother May I" combo previously used in my Style Deck, Avacyn is for board wipes and such, but the real focus is put on Ixidron for this strategy. Normally, he is a two-edged-sword, but with help via Cauldron of Souls and Lightmine Field, you can simply undo the drawback by attacking with your flipped 2/2s and having them come back to the field good as new. Now, as for the opponents' creatures, this is a problem; their creatures are basic 2/2s with no abilities, and that keeps them from attacking you since they'd just kill themselves before you even have to block. Storm alone ruins any set strategy, combo, or control. Even if a threat spell accidentally got cast by them, unless it was a creature, it will be auto-countered by Dovescape for more tokens that will die to LMF instantly. What about creatures that come out after Ixidron has already been played? I'm glad I asked; Conjurer's Closet can simply flicker him and do it all over. If you don't need to, use it to flicker Avacyn or Shusher when they're flipped over or if they have the -1/-1 counter on them. Better yet, if you're lucky enough to cast it, Rite of Replication will turn Shusher or a teammate's creature into tokens, so Ixidron won't flip them anymore. Add the untargetability from Privileged Position and Greater Auramancy and you're pretty set.The other cards are just as essential, but quite simple to grasp, especially if you've seen my other decks. Gift of Estates is for steady ramp and deck-thinning, Idyllic Tutor is obviously for getting Storm in time for casting, the instants are for threat spells that Dovescape couldn't get in time, and the Elixirs are for the event of versing a mill deck and a little replenishment. Versatile defense against all, especially the combo/control decks.
