Deck discussion for Budget Decks: Fast & Furious

Great early aggro deck!

Suggestion:
1. Mass Hysteria for early haste
2. Strength in Numbers (1 extra for trample!)
3. Fanatic of Xenagos (if you are willing to go up to 3 mana)
4. Take out Krenko's command (sorcery speed for 2 goblins...I think buff spells might be better XD)

I see that as some good points but I just don't like fanatic that much, I find it overrated.

Great early aggro deck. Now ... how bout you drop that wimpy Krenko's command for some ... COLOSSAL MIGHT!

... or psychotic strike. I'm not picky.

Seriously, though, you have to love what g/r aggro can do.

Any way ..... northy, I have a problem. I'm stuck making budget decks, even when I don't want to. Please help me!

Northy ive been watching and liking your decks I really like the G/W lifegain deck you did and the B/W exalted one.
This is nice id definitely squeeze in lightning strike if possible and sorry to say I gotta be suspicious of a green/red deck not running a playset of ghor-clan rampager. However id put it down to you trying to be a bit original.

im confused, why is this good? every creature you have except one, is 2 mana or more. making this a slow aggro. not only that but every 2 drop creature needs something else Incorporated to be good. It just looks like a bunch of cheap creatures that are incredibly ineffective by themselves. lets hope you are playing another budget deck that hasn't heard of removal, because it doesn't look like this "aggro" deck is going to be doing any damage until turn 3. Its really just green and red creatures thrown together that dont get any bigger, have no synergy, and are only here because they share a color and cost 3 or less mana to play. Your biggest creature is a crappy 3/3 with a catch.. 12 likes, 6 comments, and 308 views and no one has told you this deck sucks? How has no one noticed this?

Mtgvault loves budge decks. Personally I think it's the face that they aren't top tier decks that everyone has already seen and it's encouraging people to make their own decks. That's how I've seen the site at least.

I'm sorry that you do not like this deck, mymobbsdeep. I can add some more 1 mana creatures.
And, I've always classified 1 and 2 mana creatures as "early gamers". That's why I classify all except the Fanatics as early gamers. If you have a lot of early gamers, you'll get always a great starting hand. You can start casting creatures since turn two, and keep casting more every turn. Quickly the situation escapes out of your opponent's control unless they are focused in it.

Keep in mind this is a BUDGET deck. You want aggro? A single goblin guide costs TWICE as much as the entire deck. If you don't like budget, what are you still doing on this site? 516 posts. By now you should have gotten the idea to search on other sites. Hokey, Northy, don't pay any attention to this guy. We all don't have rich boy decks like him.

No one said Goblin Guide, what he is saying is that without a turn one play, the deck is already slower than other aggro decks. Potential early game aggro is like memnite, signal pest, and rakdos cackler.

"rich boy decks" haha. If your stuck making twelve dollar decks because thats all you can afford, id suggest leaving your 10 hours a week job at McDonald's and getting a better one lol. You can make a pretty solid deck for 50 bucks, which is less than a dollar a card. Even 30 bucks can make a solid deck. I work for my decks, and i am not comparing my decks to this, im saying thats its absurd that all these people who have checked out/liked this deck didnt point out that this is a slow ass aggro deck. An aggro deck without a possible turn one, or an explosive turn two play, isnt really an aggro deck. Its just a regular mid ranged deck with weaker creatures.

I understand. Still though, I'm glad this is a home-brew rather than a net deck of artifact affinity for super aggro. And I really don't think he needed to say a lot of stuff, such as "this deck sucks" - oh that's a helpful tone....

Northernwarlord doesnt need help making a decent or good deck, hes been doing it for awhile and knows how to make a good deck. But when i looked at this, i thought it sucked. Just being honest, and he usually makes a pretty solid well rounded deck. But an aggro deck isnt aggro if it has to wait 3 turns to attack. So yea i was disappointed in him and all of you guys for not speaking up. Your right, saying it sucks doesnt help, i tend to type first and think later. An endearing quality of mine

I appreciate your feedback. I really hope that I can learn something from your words. Guess I'll create a better deck next time. Though I am quite honored that you like at least some of my decks.

and hokey, your not stuck making budget decks, you choose to. Because everyone immediately looks at this and thinks its cool. But no one buys it, no one cares about it, and no one thinks twice about it. Because it sucks. Its not aggro, its not good, and its not even fun to play. Its just different. and thats the hype right now, shit hole decks, that involve no skill to play, no money to have. Because no one uses decks like that. And for a reason. This deck is not fast and certainly not furious, its slow and not fun to play and easy as hell to beat. It sucks, save your 12 dollars and buy a six pack and some condoms, because there is no action here.

Lol ... excellent advice. Which brand do you recommend?

Seriously though ... meh. Budget doesn't = sucks. Usually. I merely try to avoid trump cards, like archangel of thune or consumin aberration, and be more inventive.

Lol :) don't be sorry. I understand the whole having a good hand thing, and not including huge bomb creatures, but this could easily be ten times better without increasing the cost much just by including some synergy. I'm just annoyed that all these people can look at this deck and yet give no advice. A deck like this wants about 12 one drops in it, because waiting until turn three to attack with a 2/2 is not fast. The fact that if they play a kraken hatchling or something, you really have no way to get around it. Perhaps include some creature enchantments so your burst damage is consistent

I agree with these additions, Kessig Wolf Run could be a decent addition as a one or two of, and lightning mauler hasn't seem much play since it rotated so that could also be another sweet creature! :D

Love this deck so much that I had to make a version of it for myself! It's quite a bit less budget-y than yours but still does the trick for not much cash. Check it out, I hope you like it!
