Super cool deck! I love the ability changeling! Oathkeeper, takeno's daisho could be very good in hear, and same with soulcatcher's aerie. :)

Aerie drops it to only Legacy legal.. While Modern may not be the way you were going.. I may switch this brew up and play it in Modern.

What about Lord of the Unreal or Drogskol Captain ? Cheap Asceticism and Glorious Anthem in one :DOr Pheres-Band Warchief instead of/in addition to Captain of the Watch?Oh and maybe a Reaper King if you wanna drive people really mad, its worth the money :DOr Slivers? All the possibilities... ^^

is taurean mauler expensive?and what about some rebels? they can tutor your creatures direct into play.Maybe you could even use some rebels + crib swap or nameless inversion.
sadly rebels wont work cus changelings are Shapeshifter spells so rebels cant fetch em. Only then they enter the battelfield they get all creature types.
No, changelings can be fetched with rebels, they have all creature types at all times, which includes them being in your deck. :)
^ yeah. shapeshifters are everything, so you can search for them. Similarly, Sliver overlord can search for amoeboid changling (fun combo there)

And if you put it on a changeling, it basically gets +2/+2 for each other creature in play because your opponents creatures. :)

Someone has to give +1 likes to your comments in order to make your reputation level increase, as far as I know. Mine is about 1700, which is pretty high around here.

Oh, this looks FUUNNNN.Couple other awesome drops for consideration: Seshiro (all your changelings get +2/+2, and when they deal combat damage to a player you draw a card) - cmc 1 higher than brood warden, but dang.Ezuri, renegade leader. may be more difficult having that much green mana available in a budget deck, but he can end it RIGHT quick for you.Also, a great card draw with changeling is mass appeal. Thought about doing a changeling theme EDH with reaper king, maybe a prospect for future Northern consideration?

not too shabby North. as if mirror changeling wasn't OP enough already. drogskul pushes this to the brink, and gently tips it over. :)personally though I like lord of the unreal better. but it might be more expensive of a card.

it could, but it is also only a single color as well. so if you only get blue, you can still cast it. so easier and not at once I guess.
Deck is super fun to play. One of the best moments for me was when I went up against a sliver deck and all those abilities applied to my creatures it was awesome. Very well balanced, i haven't had a game yet where I lost by a substantial amount. Only edits I made was I took out a few broodwarden and stuck some of the legendary snake creatures that were mentioned in the comments. I love Alpha Status in this deck but unfortunately i play on MTGO and legacy is reserved for those weird unbeatable decks so i try and avoid it as much as I can. Overall an awesome deck.

Great Deck! It would be even more awesome if a Sliver Hivelord Was added, to make all changelings invincible. It might be a bit expensive for the budget, however.
knight exemplar might be better, I think. because cheaper for same ability, +1/+1, and not legendary so you can put multiples of them out. :)
