Deck discussion for Budget Decks: Paragon of Order

Man this looks good. Too bad most token generators are so expensive, or precinct captain and hero of bladehold would have a field day.

The deck is under 9 dollars. The captain is under a buck a piece. The Hero of Bladehold is out of the question...but maybe he could find room for Precinct Captain.

How about Kor Chant instead of Harm's Way?

I'm not sure. I do really enjoy that the Harm's Way costs only one mana.

Or Brave the Elements. All your tokens are white, so it should work there I think :)

I have found Aerial Maneuvers is a great card in mono white soldier decks, may try to get a few in there!

Dryad Militant would be nice upgrade over Elite Vanguard - the ability may help occasionally.

Preeminent captian
Ballyrush banneret

would make it modern though

I would probably drop Elite Vanguard and put in Soldier of the Pantheon Same stats, but you could gain some life with Soldier of the Pantheon at least. Makes it that much better.

Who has been downvoting Possum? She can really be intensive sometimes, but she ain't worth hating.
Fixing those minuses right now...

this is a really cool budget deck. Definitely good for anybody coming into magic. I might have main-boarded preeminent captain though

Hey, since this is Modern, you should check out the Gauntlet I made for testing brews against the top tier decks in Modern:
http://www.mtgvault.com/imfromnasa/decks/modern-gauntlet-test-here/

I think having something standard to test against can help evaluate the power levels of decks and help figure out sideboards!
