Looks good. My suggestions are as follows:1. I'd suggest the flying prowess (forgot his name. he's a bird I believe) over the elder for evasion2. I'd take out the student and add more swiftspears/Seeker of the Way. They provide more utility3. Jeskai banner! ...of course, assuming we are in budget XD

Jeskai windscout, that's the name you forogt :p, i would like some dissolve's to the mix, for more scry, some aquous form might not be that bad has well with the heroics, there's jsut so many options eve in budget soEdited ( some erase has sideboard instead of revoke existance? not many players use artifacts in standard)
the banner though it triggers prowess, is a little slow for this deck, as by turn three you want to be empting your hand at a creature, and with all the evasion that the instants give id say the deck is fine for that.... dissolve is your best option for a counter-spell in standard i guess. but this deck is likely to only really care about the monsters being dropped by jund, so having 2 or 3 stroke in the sb, over the dauntless assault would probably help more.BUT, this is a northy deck. It plays how it plays and is good at what its good at. The charm covers allot of the bases for instant in this deck. and the crane technique will !!!WRECK!! every time you get it to resolve. My only worry is the draw power of the deck is a little low.... but the only thing i can think that would help that is military int.... and putting that in as a 3 of would help... but i have no idea what to take out! But though the draw power is weak, the looting and scry of this deck really helps smooth the draws.
if you want the draw power with this deck i would prob think that bident of thassa would be better, ain't that expensive i guess , and it's for each creature that deals combat dmg? should be working for draw power, but only turn 4 coming out at least so...

I would take out all the lightning strikes just because I hate them (because of bolt even though its not standard legal) and add 1 titan's strength, the 2 dauntless onslaughts, and the last magma jet.

u'd lose that bet necrumlsice, I started playing the day after dark ascension came out, just after zendikar rotated out. So what jace did I win? (Besides even though I'm commenting on/looking at a standard deck and know about it I hate the standard format, im a modern player.)

I support the idea of using Jeskai Ascendancy in this deck. For $3.25 it's a little costly for you NorthernWarlord. Maybe if you waited another year this price would be low enough to put in :-)I was reading the comments and I think you will still be playing creatures on turn 3 (due to tapped lands entering the battlefield), and it will give you a chance to loot for better draws. I also think it's worth waiting an extra turn to drop your hand with the prospect of gaining +2/+2 per non-creature spell.

Run more of Monastery swiftspear and titans strength. For 2 mana you get a 5/4 beef stick with haste AND you scry 1!"draws two"
love the deck, solid combo of heroic and prowess. Only suggestion is Triton Tactics as for 1 mana you can trigger 2 heroics and prowess. Phalanx leader double white cost wouldn't fit neatly in your mana curve. Solid +1 deck.
