Deck discussion for Budget EDH: Alesha's Allies

Just curious, but looking at the deck, Marton Stromgald seems to synergize well with this deck structure, particularly the commander. While it doesn't have a major influence on the deck price, I'm wondering which would probably be the best card to sub for it. Suggestions?

Also just noticed, EDH rules state that the deck's commander dictates the color of the deck, so this should be mono red... unfortunately.

But EDH rules also state that if a commander has an ability that uses another color, those colors can be included in the deck. Since this commander has a white/black ability, then white and black can be included.
